Candlewood Suites Davenport, an IHG Hotel

Our stay was very nice. First time staying here and myself, husband, and adult daughter were all overly impressed. We even had several family members stop in for visits and every single one all commented on how nice, spacious, equipped, and clean our room was. They had everything we could possibly need and made our stay very comfortable. Staff was also super friendly and helpful too. This will be our new go to hotel for the holidays each year!

First the room we get has dog hair all over the couch. Then in bathroom in the towels there was hair along with the shower than the king size bed had hair all over I went to the front desk and they moved us which was fine but with kids it was a lot and it was 9 at night. Then when I was going to check out the lady at the front desk informed that she had charged me twice. She also hands me a paper that was $20 cheaper than what I paid and spent 15 mins ridiculing me on how I booked on Expedia and not with them etc first she told me they were more expensive than Expedia than looked it up and saw they were cheaper. I finally was like ok can I get my refund for the second charge she goes what are you talking about it. I said the second charge on my account she goes oh ya calls the manager says they can’t fix it til later. Also it was never noted that you had to pay a $50 deposit when you get there. I also never got to speak to a manager
