Super 8 by Wyndham Cedar Falls IA - University

Staff was truly amazing; greetings from each associate with a smile. Very informative & super nice. We felt like we were part of a family like we knew each other. One of the best experiences at a hotel we have had in a long time. Breakfast choices were great. We will definitely use Super 8 at this location again.

We stayed here as an overnight pit stop along our road trip. Staff was extremely friendly. We were very happy the pool was open until 11pm so the kids could burn off some energy after being in the car all day. Breakfast was a typical continental but still very nice, stocked well and clean.

This was our 4th stay at this location. I have not been disappointed in any of these stays. Everyone of the staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and plentiful. The pool is basic but what our grandkids loved most. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. My daughter had mistakenly left her kindle at her last stay 2 months ago. They had found it and had it locked safely away.

Overall we had a great stay. The only issue was a strong mildew smell in the room which we think may have been coming from the A/C unit, or the carpet, or both. I could also smell pet urine. Unfortunately it was a busy weekend so they had no other available rooms. We were also very busy so we were mostly there just to sleep. We used a fragrance plug in to mask the smell. Some of my other family members were staying as well and they did not have this issue in their rooms. The staff was planning on cleaning the carpets. They did offer to do it while we were there but I didn't want wet floors. Besides that no cmplaints. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I liked the hotel, but because of Expedia I am trying to find another place for my girlfriend and our baby. We had 2 nights selected but they only reserved for one night

We didn’t know about the 15$ per night fee for our dog. The front desk attendant refused to give me and all of my teenage kids keys. (4 in total). Only said 2 was allowed no matter what.

The staff were friendly and our room was spacious for a family of 6! The only downside was that there was no hot tub to enjoy.
