Hampton Inn Cedar Falls Downtown

We stay here every time we come to town to visit family. It is a nice hotel with friendly staff and it is close to the fun downtown area which is very pretty and has lots to see and do. We will definitely stay here again!

My hubs and i were hete for a family reunion and im so glad we switched hotels from our original booking. This hotel has beautifully modern decor, nice views of th river and downtown, comfy beds and convenience to walking/biking. . I wiah we could atay longer.We even took one of our dogs from Texas too. Thumbs up from Chewy the Pom.

The hotel was clean and new. It was in a great location to walk to shops and restaurants. There were a lot of families with children for state trap and a softball tournament but we did not hear anyone once in our room!!!

Had a little trouble with room. Temperature was pretty hot and fan and temps seemed to be preset. I asked front desk to adjust it, but didn’t happen, also the last day my door lock was broken, so I had to have staff open door for me when I needed to get in. That said, the hotel seemed super busy, and one family group was camped out in all public spaces the whole weekend like they owned the place, so I suspect that you average days/weekends the experience would be much better.

I wish I would have gotten her name, but I didn't. The woman at the front desk Sat, Nov 18 at night was awesome. Great setnup in the lobby for hanging out with our family. Great location too.

Unfortunately our family was not impressed with this hotel, with it being pretty new we were surprised at the lack of cleanliness especially. Our hotel room had dirt, dead spiders, leaves, cobwebs etc. all over the floor/ceiling when we opened the door. The microwave smelled like day old spaghetti when we first opened it. The cupboard door handle was literally falling off on one of the cupboards. When we went to check-in to our reservation it was 45 AFTER the accepted check-in time and the front desk person had to go check to see if the room was done being cleaned. Luckily it was ready, but clean it was NOT. I had specifically asked when booking the room to have 4 extra pillows in the room. When we got to the room, no pillows to be found. That night I went down to the desk and waited for 15 minutes to have the front desk person get more pillows. After the 15 minutes he comes back and says they are all being "washed" and they'll be done soon. So that I could check back "later" this was at 8:30 PM! He should have brought us the pillows when they were done getting washed. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, we enjoyed the sausage/eggs. Muffins tasted like nail polish and the danishes were not good either. Also, the pool temperature was freeeeezing cold. One person with us couldn't even get into the pool because of the temperature. The towels were all out when we first got to the pool too. Overall we left feeling pretty unhappy with our stay, which was a huge bummer.
