Tru by Hilton Fort Wayne, IN

We woke to no power. What hotel does not have a backup generator? Getting around a room rushing to get around fir an event was near impossible with only a phone flashlight. No 9ffer of even cold cereal, muffins or anything for breakfast and our girls were playing a whole day of volleyball. We pick hotels purposely with breakfast included due to time crunches. Also, after the power came back on, my room never warmed back up and remained cold. I turned the heat up as high as i could and no hot air ever came out of the register. It blew air, but never hot. Front desk told me 3 times to give it time to catch up. Never offered anyone to come take a look. My last complaint was the pool temp! Way too cold. When the kids are spending more time in the shower down there to try to get warm, you know there is a problem. Will NOT stay here again!

Great hotel the kids loved it !

In town for a baseball tournament where pretty much the whole team stayed. Very clean, bed was comfortable, close to a lot of everything. Staff were very friendly to all parents and kids. Even by the highway, traffic noise was not an issue. A laundry room would have been nice seeing as we were there for baseball, but we made it work.

Clean, Laid back, family friendly atmosphere. However... The walls are not well insulated and thin. You can definitely hear the temper tantrums of children in the next room, dogs barking, and people running/stomping down the hall in the middle of the night. Not ideal especially when it already took a while to fall asleep due to the bed not being very comfortable to sleep in.

Nice, new hotel, very contemporary. Looks geared to kids & families, with gaming stuff in lobby.

Absolutely fabulous hotel! Our young family booked for a winter staycation and had so much fun. Staff were beyond friendly and helpful and the kids had a blast at the pool, buffet breakfast and games. We really appreciated the comfy beds. We will be back to stay again!

Everything is clean and the staff was friendly. The room didn’t have a microwave which I was kind of surprised by and the fridge didn’t feel very cold. I’m traveling with a new baby and am breastfeeding so those couple of things would have been nice but we managed without

Lobby was loud and messy because of dozens of children running around like at a playground and leaving trash everywhere. While their parents did nothing. Toilet in room was loose at the base.
