Hampton Inn & Suites Ft. Wayne-North

We arrived Saturday for check in and only had one of the rooms ready, the front desk stated the other room needed checked first. When we got into the other room it’s very clear it was dirty empty bottle on the floor by the bed and the bathroom floor was dirty. We travel a lot for sports and we always do a mattress check. We found a bug, we went down to the front desk where we had to wait for a manager who never came to speak with us. The guy at the front desk said they would have to call pest control and the soonest they would be there was Monday. Since we had two rooms and had places to be we decided to share the 2nd room. After getting back from our scheduled events. We went to pull the couch bed out and found a contact less, white powder substance and lots of hair. In the bedroom we found fruit roll up wrappers popcorn crumbs and a plastic fork. We packed up at 11pm and drove our family home through the night. We notified the lady at the front desk we were leaving and that we had called the Health Department. You could clearly tell these rooms were not even cleaned! If you had someone inspect them like you said was the reason our room wasn’t ready. Clearly that standard operating procedure is not working.

Did not get connecting rooms with my family as we requested at booking, even though we were "confirmed reservation" on website. Rooms were apart from each other. My room had blood in toilet, used towels, and rumpled bedsheets on bed. Breakfast was decent ham slices scrambled eggs, etc. Phil in kitchen area was awesome at age 84 setting up area.

Nice stay over Thanksgiving, family of 3 and our 2 dogs. I would book again.

The lady at the front desk was VERY helpful and offered me a pack n okay for the baby. I did think the property needed some renovations. In our bathroom in room 306, there was still blue painters tape on the ceiling and around the light fixture. The beds were pretty hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was okay. The eggs were all gone at 9am and breakfast was over at 10. The swimming pool was open until midnight so that was great. Overall it was an okay stay, the staff was super friendly, it was just the property itself that needed a little love.

The ONLY reason we chose your hotel was that it had a pool. We travelled from Ohio to Ft. Wayne and rented a suite so we could have an Easter party for our grandkids who live near Ft. Wayne. They were so tickled to have a swim party with grandma. Well the pool was out of service and no swimming was available. This ruined it for all involved. Sound between rooms was intrusive also.

Patrick the night clerk was fabulous my entire family fell in love with him

The staff was great, Kid was the best! The room was clean. The mattresses were soft but sunk in the middle. The kids loved breakfast and the pool.

The room was filthy. Our toddler had black feet from the tile floor in our room. It was disgusting.

Easy to find. The hotel is in a great location. Our family came together for a reunion and enjoyed sites in Flort Wayne.
