The Stoney Creek hotel is physically fine and not entirely run down. The service provided however is entirely unprofessional. I understand that not every hotel guest is friendly and well behaved but the front desk staff are rude and assume the hotel guests will behave poorly. I even heard Abby from the front desk call a guest a “clown”. The staff here could use an instruction on communicating effectively and behaving like an adult. If you are looking for a mediocre hotel and plan on sitting in your room the entire time then this hotel will be fine for you. I however will not be staying here again to witness such immature behavior. I was uncomfortable that my children had to witness such rude behavior.

It was fine. Lots of places to walk to for food & drink. Lots of kids, there was a little league tournament but they were pretty well behaved! The place had new carpet in the halls. The room was great & I would stay again. Mario behind the bar is always welcoming.

The staff was rude and very stressed out. Breakfast was ransacked, the pancake machine was the only thing that was working. We had to wait 30 min for coffee and 2 juices flavors were out. breakfast are was very messy and no one was coming to help out. Very disappointing when you expect breakfast for the family before a long day and we had to go elsewhere. The rooms were clean- but not enough towels and when asked front desk, they said it was -“Sunday” and there was not more! The restaurant is not but the bar was a nice hang out. The hotel was very busy and they should of been more prepared.

Too much noise overnight. If it’s not kids running up and down the halls at all hours, it’s older “kids” talking loudly back and forth in their rooms at 3 in the morning. There should be enforced “quiet” hours— i don’t pretend to know how to achieve that, but the overnight noise is disrespectful (at best) to other guests. This has happened on our previous stays at Stoney Creek. Thank you for your attention.

Overall really good. Good breakfast. Reasonable price. Not sure if there are quiet hours but there were kids running rampant until about midnight. Not sure you can knock the hotel for terrible guests. But overall nice and good location.

Great looking hotel but poorly managed. Beautiful place that is going to be gross if someone doesn't start maintaining it. The jacuzzi water was lukewarm, it had a weird smell, and it had sand in the water. I've stayed there twice and both times, it's over booked and there's kids running around everywhere. Breakfast was out of everything and when I asked for bread, the employee was rude and said she's trying and she'll get to it when she can. Not prepared at all. When we checked in, the employee was rude and complained how about how much he hated expedia because of the VIP program. The bartender was also rude and uninterested in serving us. He was too busy chatting with the people at the bar. He seemed annoyed to help us. The chairs in the commons areas are hard and the cushion is gone so very uncomfortable. The water had fake lemons in it so that was weird, too.

I couldn’t check into the hotel until after 3 o’clock and then check out was by 11 so I didn’t get 24 hours in this hotel that I paid $250 a night for I was right outside the pool with children and had a bunch of grown men waving at my daughters through the windows and then The noise in the room was absolutely ridiculous. We were outside the pool so everybody was there till midnight and then after that, they were running around the halls throwing balls on the walls smoke alarm went off at 11:30.so now everybody in my room is awake then you could hear someone vacuuming at 3 AM. This was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had in a hotel in my life for $250. I think I need a refund.

They were really busy, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, that meant when my room was not necessarily up to their standards (damaged locks, fire alarm issues, etc), there were no other options. The staff was very friendly and helpful as much as they were able to be and discounted the room for the trouble. Lots of children making noise late into evening so it’s definitely a family-friendly hotel :-)

Very low on staff. Bartender would not wait on tables and had his kids and wife in there. Hotel is a kid hotel and has pool birthday parties which was not advertised. Candy all over floors and stairs. Breakfast area empty numerous days. Maid service horrible but sure want tips. Front desk girls were nice but horribly overworked. They cannot be at front desk and do numerous other things. Very poorly ran.
