We had a wonderful stay at this location, everything was better than expected. Shout out to Rey, Wilma, and the rest of the staff for going above and beyond for me and my family. I travel for work and for family in Chicago every month…. After the last 6 months of trying to find suitable lodging I finally have! I look forward to return visits to this location in the coming months.

Stay was good except for having a room with an adjoining door and the smell of marijuana was very strong at one point in the night. We had our infant sleeping with us and almost changed rooms. I did contact the desk and they said they would move us to another room if needed, that was very appreciated.

We will definitely stay here again. Everything was great. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was hot. And we traveled with our son's family and they accommodated us by giving us rooms next to each other. The indoor pool is nice and warm. The room had everything we needed. Soaps, shampoo, conditioner, towels, enough pillows.

Upon check in, another lady pushed the front desk clerk that was originally assisting me away stating to the original clerk, “move out of the way, I’ll do it.” I found this to be rude and unprofessional. I had to repeat my information again and the new person could not find my reservation. I had booked 2 rooms and was only given 1. I tried to show the new clerk my reservation, but; she ignored me and insisted to create new reservations. The occupancy of the hotel was less than 15 percent and I was given the two worse rooms in the hotel. My view was the heating / air conditioning units on the roof. The room had damaged on the walls, which I shared with the new clerk as we checked in. The heating unit in the room constantly made noise. My family and I were in town unexpectedly for the death of my mother in law. I was not able to address these issues as I would have normally would have, because; of our emotional state of mind. I should have checked out and gone to another hotel. This experience will make me hesitate to choose the hotel in the future. Please feel free to contact me for more specifics if necessary.

We were there to visit family for the weekend. I was specifically looking for a pool and a free breakfast. Your location had both - indoor pool even! I could have saved up to $40 a mount by staying down the street but - i was excited for the pool. We checked in late, treated great! In the morning - i get up to go check out the pool - as this was the reason we picked your hotel and very surprised to see it empty, with signs on the door and wires hanging everywhere. This was NOT disclosed on your website, hotels.com or in signs throughout the hotel - in fact, the elevators have printed and laminated info sheets - NOWHERE mentions the pool being closed, in fact provides details of the hours of operation. The next disappointment was breakfast. I was really excited for the convenience and honestly Hampton Inn has always been a good experience. However. I made my punpkin spice waffle, i was real excited to get my toppings on and enjoy it. But i put caramel sauce on and a gnat came along with it. We didn't finish our return or next 2 mornings. Very, very disappointed. Will not choose this location for the next trip in 2024.

I am very disappointed that I took quite a bit of time to write three or four paragraphs reviewing this hotel. It was rejected. I met all of the guidelines, I did not mention prices. I use no profanity, and no photography. Nor did I mention staff members by name. This rejection adds to our great disappointment in this hotel. My advice would be to go elsewhere. It seems as though the parent company has forgotten this place. The staff is unprofessional, and the experience as a whole, was extremely disappointing from a hotel brand that we had grown to trust. Very poor security. Staff at the front desk appeared very unprofessional and how they carried them selves. The room was OK but tired. No one was at the reception desk or even in the lobby when we left even though I called three or four times out loud looking for someone. We make regular trips to this area to see family, but will likely choose the holiday inn around the corner, or the Fairfield down the street. My suggestion would be to do the same.

They are renovating. Our room was musty with a faint odor of pet urine. The most disappointing aspect of this stay was the pool. The water smelled strongly of algae and had a green tint. It was GROSS. My kids decided they'd rather not swim in it. In contrast, the breakfast area was spotless, well-stocked, and thoroughly cleaned.

Pool heater wasnt working. 2 days in a row kids were running around like crazy and both days the fire alarm was pulled.

I was disappointed with just about everything here. I checked in and the person could not help me extend my stay and told me I had to do it online. Then I get to my room and see they just reused a quarter roll of toilet paper from the last guest and made a triangle at the end. On top of that I took my kids down to the pool and it was so unbelievably cold we couldn’t get in. So unfortunately our whole 4 days we couldn’t swim. But of course there was nothing they could do but call the maintenance man in the morning. The breakfast was good the first morning but every day after that was like strange cat food! It was a bad stay. I will never return there again.

It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem was the pool was closed for annual service. If we had known that ahead of time we would have booked somewhere else. The kids were disappointed but other than that it was good.
