Comfort Suites Lombard - Addison

My experience was not a great one first upon arriving found out that the elevator was down was told it was on the website but when I looked plus my daughter and several others we could not find where is showed that the elevator was down, then once getting in the room seen that there was not enough towels for me and my family and that the pillowcases were dirty was told that I had to wait until the next day for housekeeping, then when housekeeping came they didn’t want to give us the new stuff we had requested. They staff was very rude and very argumentative when you tried to talk to them to explain would they like to be told your not able to be given fresh linen and towels, also used the washer and because the washer was rusted out left my clothing dirty from the rust in the washer. Overall the trip was not a good one was supposed to be a trip for my family before back to school and it was not a good experience

I was disappointed in my stay. I wasn't expecting to be UNcomfortable at Comfort Suites. The elevator was down my entire stay, so my family and I had to take the stairs for three days. The one positive is that breakfast was pretty good.

The hotel was clean. The room was fine. The breakfast was adequate. There was a lot of noise in the halls until 1am my first night - kids running up and down the hall. It was quiet my 2nd and 3rd nights.

I don’t usually right these…Our room was okay. The bathroom was very poor though. We were put in a disability room. The shower head dripped continuously creating a pool of water so the ground was wet near the shower at all times. My husband and I are not disabled, but did slip a couple times. No water pressure on shower. Hair was in the shower upon check in. Vanity looked like it wanted to come of the wall. A few patched up holes on the wall that were painted with mismatched paint. Staff that worked at the front desk upon check was pretty rude to the couple checking in before us. He wouldn’t listen to her and kept telling her she was wrong about her already paying for the room. Turns out she was right. He didn’t apologize. He was okay at check in with us. They don’t greet you when you walk near the check in area. Staff that does maintenance, breakfast and the room cleaning crew are soooooo nice and pleasant. Morning breakfast is good enough. The pool area looked decrepit. I wouldn’t let my kids in there if I had them. Clearly a hotel that needs a lot of renovations or should be re built.

We booked two days with kids but we checked out second day we stayed one day only because it was dirty and my son he was want pool but the pool it was very very bad so dirty he can’t even stay there

The hotel is run down. Clean, but very run down. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, carpets so dirty should be replaced. BED WAS AWFUL. Hard as a rock. Wall are very thin. People next door so loud, complained but they never shut up or controlled the small children. Location good for us, but would NEVER stay again.

The hotel itself is pleasant and convenient to the highway. Upon entering the lobby though all I could smell was the combination of cigarette smoke and marijuana which was just sickening. The room walls are not well insulated for noise reduction and the family next to us unfortunately was having to deal with a child having an absolute meltdown for almost two hours straight. My family got to hear the whole thing clear as a bell. Breakfast was decent. Hot fresh eggs and sausage along with a waffle station. Breads, bagels, rolls were also available. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable; ours were on the softer side. Overall a decent stay.

My room was not ready upon arrival for at least half an hour. I was trying to be nice and kinda make the bed and find 1 bed bug moving around on the sheets. Kept it silent from the wife and kid.

This is an older hotel, but it was very comfortable and was clean. The room was larger than you would get most places for the price and it was able to comfortably accommodate two adults and 3 children. The hot breakfast was very nice and saved us money on our trip. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we need to.

I wish I could have something positive. I had stayed here a while ago with the family. Place has just turned down. Very dirty rooms. Stains all over bathroom. Shower curtain was dirty. Curtains on windows seem they haven't been changed in years. Super dirty. All the tables in room and tv stand had not been cleaned, may be only dusted but not cleaned. Walls are not kept cleaned. Carpets seem like they have been forgotten. No hygiene at all. Will never go back. Don't recommend at all.
