Hotel is good for family

Lids for coffee are cheap. 1st one broke putting on. 2nd one popped off in my car right after checking in. Stayed two nights. The people above us had noisy kids who ran around their room for HOURS both nights. The ceiling/floor must be thin because we heard them the entire time. Staff was friendly. Place was clean. Otherwise good but probably won’t stay again because it was too noisy through the ceiling.

No frills, but a good & clean location that was easily accessed from the highway for a family road trip. Would have been nice to have an area to fill water (filtered) during the day but were no complaints at all.

Booked 2 rooms over the last weekend to celebrate Father's Day with my parents at Wingate Schaumburg. Hotel location is really good it's close to the mall and convenient to places that we visited. However, we had 3 big issues during our stay: - Cleanliness & Customer Service - when we entered my parents room and we found milk dripping from the corner of the refrigerator door (we didn't notice that when we put our food in, so it made all our containers really sticky). Later at night, my parents found some (blood) stains on their blanket/bedding cover, since it's late at night, my parents didn't tell us so they just put the blanket aside on the couch. The next morning, we asked the Front Desk is that a way that we can file a complaint with corporate on this as having stains on the bedding is really disturbing and not sanitary. The person at the front desk would not give us any info AT ALL and told us now that they know about the stain , they will clean the bedding for the next customer. No apologies and no corporates info given to us. - Soundproof - Walls are really thin, I could clearly hear our neighbors who stayed right next door and above their private "actions" at 12.30am 4:00 in the morning. We could also hear guests chatting on the hallway through out the night as well. I know this is not a 5 star hotel, however this is not an experience that I expect from Wingate especially for a special weekend with my family.

Great place to stay in your in Schaumburg. Staff is fantastic, very nice and always greet you. Rooms are perfect for any size family from single adults to families

Hotel was okay, but the beds were not comfortable. Sadly if you cant get comfortable to sleep it kind of spoils the stay. When we enrered our room there was some trash in the trash can already and our toilet was plugged. We got in late and were tired so went to bed right away and didnt notice the plugged toilet until in middle of the night, and didnt want to bother anyone at like 2am so we just used the toilet and couldnt flush... The breakfast was okay but they did not have any milk available for the kids cereal... again this was shocking since why would you have cereal available and no milk? We will not be staying at this hotel again due to all of the mishaps. Plus everyone not being able to sleep well due to the beds made a very long day of everyone being crabby and spoiled our trip

Front desk was vey nice. Heard banging and lots of yelling from kids. And babies screaming all night.on the third floor. Room was great and spacious. Very thin walls

The property was very clean and nice. Couple of issues we had though--we had to check in early at 1:00 because we came for a wedding. The room was ready but we were charged $20.00 for early check in. I've never heard of such a thing! As the room was already cleaned, I don't see any reason that there should be an extra charge. There was also a group of children hockey players. It would have been much better if they had all been placed on one floor. They were scattered throughout the hotel and caused noise within our room.

The staff were extremely accommodating. They allowed us to check in an hour early which allowed us more time to prepare for our evening dinner schedule with our family in downtown Chicago. The arrangement of the room was very convenient. The friendly and kind behavior or all the staff made for a very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend your hotel to anyone I could. I also complement the staff on their attention to cleanliness of the entire environment.

When we arrive we were greeted by a very friendly Hispanic front desk receptionist. She was very helpful and informative. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and no bed bugs. My kids loved their mini pancakes, they had a good variety of breakfast options. The male receptionist with the braids was so friendly as well. We could tell he enjoys working in the hotel, he treats it as his home.
