Sonesta ES Suites Chicago - Schaumburg

Very spacious room with plenty of beds and towels. Great for big families. Breakfast was a good selection of proteins and grains. Surrounding area was lovely and safe.

Our stay was great. The grandchildren used the pool and we really enjoyed the two bedrooms.

It was a perfect stay for what I needed. Will recommend for families and pet parents

We stayed a Sonesta ES Suites Schaumburg for a family visit to Chicago. The suite was essentially a small apartment. Everything was well cleaned and the room was in good condition throughout the stay. The one concern I had was the first night, when temperatures dropped. We used the pull out bed and it did get fairly cold in the room the first night, regardless of the thermostat setting. The following nights did not seem to have this problem. Breakfast was provided in a common room next to the outdoor pool. Better than average seating arrangements and comfortable chairs. The menu was also above average with fresh hot items like sausages, eggs, and an amusing machine that generated generous sized pancakes on a small conveyor belt that my son found entertaining. General stay was pleasant, though I might bring an extra blanket or two depending on the season.

Everything was fine until Saturday, February 17. I ordered Uber eats on and had the delivery guy to leave with the receptionist. The delivery guy said he left it with the receptionist. I said I want to go get the food on my family members and when we got my family member got there, the receptionist immediately became defensive. I didn’t take it I’m not responsible for when you ask. Where is food? Maybe about an hour later we received a phone call from the reception like oh the guest found your food by the garbage can like what but anyway, as the night went on it got cold in the room we called the receptionist to tell her about the heat heating issue she said she didn’t have a maintenance on staff and gave us a heater Overall stuff for the mishap with the food everything was fine I forgot to mention that someone did walk in and her eating the food.

We loved the space and cleanliness of the suite. It was perfect for our small family (2 adults and 2 young children). The rooms were comfy and having two bathrooms and a kitchenette were great amenities. We stayed in the main building so it was convenient to be near laundry, front desk, food, etc. The front desk was super kind and helpful as well. The location is close to shopping, dining and the highway so it was easy and quick to get around.

Staff was great and very accommodating! Great place for families. Plenty to do in the area, but with a pool, basketball court, a propane grill and nice place to sit - you do t have to leave! Solid free breakfast and very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent location to stay with children- the two bedroom suites with two bathrooms offered a good value and space for kids to spread out. The pool and property is well maintained. The included breakfast buffet is a nice addition - not fancy, but adequate for our family.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It was a central location to where we went. Breakfast was wonderful, staff was very friendly! Definitely recommend!!

The stay was overall good but there were spiders in the lining the office gave me for my children to sleep on my son jumped up as he was getting ready for bed a spider!!! Call the front office and they office told me we’ll have to wait until the morning for maintenance and the next morning maintenance came sprayed even more appeared once we returned bck to the room we killed over 12 spiders.
