Booked hotel as it had advertised having a pool for our kids. Pool is under construction and no advertisement provided to inform before booking. Wouldn't have booked the hotel had we known. Building is old and rooms were dirty. TV didn't have ABC which was the only channel desired to watch a game on. Requests to deliver more towels took several hours. The two bed rooms were incredibly small compared to other hotels. Worst DoubleTree we have stayed at.

Housekeeping goes home after 3pm or 4. My room was never done. I had my four kids with me and it was a very poor experience. The room wasn’t vacuumed , and we found a few bugs wondering around our room. The pool wasn’t in service also. I have kids, that’s why they love going to the hotel. They want to go swimming. Bad experience overall. Won’t book with them anymore. The air conditioner had mold on the blades. I’m done. Never again

I was out on a family trip and would not suggest this hotel. The rooms have a pungent smell with no ventilation. There is no hot water. This is waste of money.

Staff was friendly and hotel was clean and updated. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and we did not sleep well. Pool could use an update but kids had fun.

We stayed in a handicap accessible room, there was no bathroom vanity, just a sink. No place for our shaving kit. Bathroom floor was downhill from showet to toilet, causing a pool there. Dumpsters were noisily emptied at 3.30am, right under our 2nd floor window. Swimming pool was warm, the grandkids loved it! Hotel was pretty quiet except for the dumpster incident.

Staff were friendly. Walking into our hotel room, the first thing noticed was the smell. The carpet had a “wet dog” musty smell to it. Not at all pleasant. The facility itself was not renovated from whatever hotel chain it had previously belonged to. Basically Hilton slapped some paint on your hotel room and called it updated. The pool was also not updated, one of the underwater pool lights was broken and left unrepaired, the fixture was literally taken apart at the side of the pool and left there. I had to tell my young children to stay away from it because it was broken and needed to be fixed. Will not go back, thank you very much.

The staff had an attitude upon arrival. Didn’t get the same greeting as other guests. The receptionist was very short and for some reason bothered by our presence. I always stay with double tree and always get a cookie when welcomed. The receptionist never even offered if me and my family would like one. Very unprofessional I will not be staying at the Hilton ever again when I go to Chicago.

It's a great property to stay at. You have all the shopping and necessities you would need at close range. Easy access to highways. Did not interact too much with the staff but they all seemed friendly. The room was clean and spacious. It was just myself this time and it was perfect. Bathrooms and room was clean and tidy. I would stay again! I did use the gym for a quick workout. They also had a nice pool for kids if you have kids.

Near Legoland was the benefit. There was no complimentary breakfast even though it was list as one I used the Expedia app and filters for pool and free breakfast. The breakfast was $14.95 for adults and $7.95 for kids under 6.
