Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Schaumburg, IL

The front desk lady was just the sweetest! The lady at breakfast was a little rude. The room was not the cleanest, I had to clean and sanitize the whole room, the doors all were not working right. Getting into the room you have to push hard and turn the knob a certain way just to get in and same as the bathroom. My kids were locked in for a bit because the door was broken. Room was not very homey like other hotel rooms we’ve been to. Swimming pool was small but it was fun for the kiddos. The front desk ladies made it worth the stay bc they were so sweet!!!

Lisa, the front desk manager made our stay fabulous. She is so kind and really cares about her guests. I would stay here again because of her! The beds were comfortable but bouncy. The kids loved going into the pool and hot tub. Nice patio area in front. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Would recommend.

It is a nice hotel, smaller than i thought. My kids loved the pool , the water was a perfect temp , went to the hot tub 1 time it was good, except there's always kids in it. Breakfast was good and standard. Eggs, sausage , waffle station,cereal etc. Would love more variety of fruits other than apples and bananas. Even if we had to pay for it. Front desk staff is very helpful. My door latch was coming off and it was fixed the next morning, but i still only barely slept because it was only me with 3 kids. Our room was cleaned everyday, which i appreciate with a 4 and 7 year old. They have a happy hour and you get a coupon for 2 alcoholic drinks , did that on the last evening there. Kids got free soda along with their snacks. It was great. 1 complaint is the Gym. It had 1 elliptical, 1 treadmill and 1 bench without weights. Went to exercise, there was no towels, or equipment wipes to clean up. Went to get water the light was on, it was empty. Sespite this, the hotel was worth the price. Hotel is is about 10 mins from the largetest mall in illinois, And lots of other restaurants nearby.

Aside from screaming children, it was a pleasant get away! If you don’t count the smell of weed throughout the building at all hours of the day!

This hotel is not what it used to be. The hot tub was not working, because of that there were too many people in the pool and LOTS of kids. The towels were thin and cheap. The temperature was horrible, one degree made it too hot or too cold. The front desk staff tried to upgrade us for the inconvenience but the king room had a tiny bathroom and seemed like a downgrade. Breakfast was almost not even edible. The eggs were overcooked the sausage tasted old and there wasn’t much variety. I asked if there was new management and was told Radisson no longer owns it. I will not be back.

I picked this hotel for a overnight stay/shopping trip. I got 2 rooms (connecting rooms were not available but got rooms across from each other). There were 7 adults (17 & up) & a 2 year old. We came down from WI spent day shopping at Woodfield Mall & this hotel was convenient & offered free breakfast. The best part was pool was open from 6am-11pm so my kids got to spend extra time in pool/hot tub.

Was great for family one night stay.

Friendly staff. Like the configuration of the suites since we were traveling with children. Slept well. Didn’t care for the hotel breakfast, which featured powdered eggs, sausage, basic cereals, bananas, toast, a few other things… we’ve definitely seen worse, but still might have bought something healthier to eat in our room had we known.

There were kids running around in the room above my wife and I and when I notified the staff of this they immediately offered us another room. They also apologized and gave us a bottle of champagne and chocolates.

Easy parking was a plus . Cleanliness could have been improved (I guess they are short staffed ) My phone was not working and I told FD and they said well we will have maintenance swing by tomorrow. How long will you stay ? Then when I said one day then there wasnt anything they can do about it . But when the swimming pool was closed because someone threw up in it and another family came in to swim the same FD told her ohhh we are really sorry I will call the maintenance and check if I can fix it for you and if I figure it out For wall call you and let you know . what room are you in ? So now you can call the maintenance? And fix an issue for a customer?? I felt very undermined especially that Im a woman of color.
