Hilton Garden Inn Chicago McCormick Place

Stay was great only wish was that my family had ajoining rooms. I guess next time I book 8 months out I will ask for that.

The only problem we had were loud neighbors. The walls are paper thin and there was a family that kept us up until 2 am. Other than that, the staff and hotel itself was wonderful! As long as we didnt have to be up early the next day, we would definitely stay again.

The hotel itself was great, but at check-in, I was told that my 3 month old reservation for a single king room had been upgraded to a double queen. When I told the clerk it was a down grade for a couple not an upgrade, he said it was because I had booked through a third party (Expedia) and I could try to get it changed in the morning, but everything was booked due to events in the area. I decided not to waste the day as I was there to visit family, not events. Then, two of the four nights the rooftop bar was off limits for private events, this would have been good to know ahead of time, as between this and the room, I would have booked another hotel.

It was a family vacation and everything was very nice. The hotel pool is small and can only accommodate a few people but was plenty warm. Service was excellent as well as the cleanliness. The only thing we didn't like was that it did not include breakfast and Hampton Inn and Home both included a complimentary breakfast.
