Very clean and nice staff. Pool was small with minimal seating and super busy with kids. Wish hotel had more options of food inside hotel.

We had a very good experience overall. Our room was pretty clean with the exception of the room’s air filter (which needs replacing) and the shower floor (which has mold/mildew around the edges). The pool and hot tub water is so cloudy that you can’t see your feet in the water. I don’t know if that is the result of yhe water not being clean or if it’s a certain type of pool chemical being used. I don’t know. The pool was packed with families every night. The staff was very nice and friendly and helpful. You can’t beat the location. It’s so close to the museums, great restaurants, and even a grocery store!

The pool and hot tub was an absolute nightmare. Door key does not work after 9:30 pm, yet the pool is open until 10. Tons of kids in the hot tub, not enjoyable for a couple at all. Then in the morning when the pool is suppose to be open at 9am. The door key is not working again and there is a huge line of people waiting to get in, only to not be let in until almost 9:15 am. After 10 adult hours should be something you strongly consider. I choose this hotel because of the nice pictures of the pool and hot tub, only to be let down.

Very convenient location for families visiting the museums. The only improvement I would suggest is related to parking. Valet was full by the time we could check in, leaving us having to scramble to find other options. Overnight street parking is unavailable near the hotel. We found an indoor parking structure a block away, which actually ended up saving us money in the end. Keeping this in mind, my family would definitely stay here again.

The room was very comfortable. The bed was nice and comfy. I didn’t like that the pool and hot tub were always packed with kids. The service was very friendly including the valet. I loved just about everything about this hotel and I would stay there again

Hotel was great. Staff and service great. We decided to utilize the pool and no issues. Next day, decided to go back to the hot tub there were 20 kids back and forth (which kids are kids, that's ok) but visible dirty water along the sides of the tub and in the foam. Would stay again, but will never use the pool/hot tub

Staff friendly. Room was way over priced. Black mold and dust with hair in bathroom. Pool needs adult only hours After walking downtown Chicago we were looking forward to nice hot tub, however faculty is shared with another hotel Guests had toddlers screaming and in hot tub. Ruined hotel stay for us

The hotel is really perfect (fantastic room and closet design!) Except for the swimming pool: there is no point to have one if you open it at 9 am, when all guests are gone. When we come back, it is full of screaming kids. There are people who need to swim for health, daily. I chose this hotel (not my fav Blake this time) because it had a swimming pool. And then, I couldn’t use it.

We stayed here for a weekend family sight seeing trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and comfortable and its within walking distance of museums and the aquarium. Beautiful views of the lake and the chinese restaurant on the ground floor was fantastic! We loved staying here and already plan to make thid our base for future visits.
