Great and comfortable room with a great view of the Chicago Lakeshore and Navy Pier. Pool was great for the kids and 8 foot deep end is unheard of these days. Lack of hot tub was a miss for the adults but that's fine.

The place was nice and the staff were super nice, but it didn't really feel like a family friendly environment. I think this hotel is setup for couples more than families. The staff though were super nice!

Food service was super slow… even though the food was good. The room were nice, but found some things from the guest before us. Not super family friendly.

The person checking me in was great but it went downhill from there. Staff was overall very unfriendly from the valet to the front desk (minus the person who checked me in). I had to have medicine delivered at 9pm and my 4 year old was sleeping (we were solo) and the front desk wouldn’t even help bring it to my room. I know they typically don’t but I was uncomfortable leaving my child alone sleeping and needed the meds. Elevator was backed up every time - once I waited 11 min in a line just to get in. After waiting the elevator got stuck for 3 min between floors. Skipped my floor so I had to walk down the stairs 5 flights. Overall, been to this hotel many times for weddings in the past and the quality and service has gone downhill massively. Will not stay here again.

We went to the top floor to check out the view and a very rude staff member told us it was closed once we got up there. There was no one there except him and it upset my kids quite a bit that he was so rude to us.

I was was burnt out and it was my birthday. Needed to decompress. The staff was so friendly (Erika ❤️ and Lois) and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make my birthday staycation relaxing. Down to a in room treat for my fur baby. And a chocolate treat for me. I will definitely return when I need a quick change of scenery from my urban neighborhood dwelling. It felt truly like a vacation. Thanks W Lakeshore for a stress free relaxing weekend.

There’s actually no issues about this hotel it was perfect it was really good I would stay again if I go visit Chicago The room service was amazing I accidentally ordered too many waters and they gave me back my money The service was amazing The location was very good in the morning we woke up to see the beautiful sunrise would recommend 100% to friends and families and other people The hotel was totally worth the money compared to other hotels that are super expensive I am very Picky with many hotels because they’re mostly dirty and have hair but honestly I didn’t have a problem at all with the hotel in the morning and at night you can see the humongous Ferris wheel that there is if your hotel is facing in front of the lake

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were a little disappointed that the pool wasn’t open. We had a family vacation and I had my 3 1/2 year granddaughter with me. Which she was excited about going swimming. I understand the pool was under repair, but it would have been nice to know that in advance. We made the best of the situation. However we still enjoyed our stay at the Hotel.
