Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile Suites

Great Labor Day getaway with family. Went in on Sunday and left Monday afternoon. Great lake view and room fit our needs as a 4 person family. Room was dusty in some areas and you could tell it needs a bit of an upgrade. Bathroom had a little rust near the bottom of the doorway and faucet needed to be reinforced. Other than that, bed was extra comfy and we had both a fridge and microwave. Pool was open and pretty full at night but top of the morning was wide open for at least 2 hours. Pool opens at 5am

Quick trip but overall pretty good. Bed and pillows were super comfy. Liked having the separate room with couch/chair to hang out in. Couch wasn’t that comfortable but still… Bathroom was outdated. Faucets loose, shower wasn’t great. Quiet hotel which we really liked! Didn’t hear doors slamming constantly or kids running/screaming down the hall.

Great service, The room is clean and everything looks taking cared of. The breakfast was delicious. This is a great hotel for kids and families.

Stayed one night on this property with my kids. They absolutely loved the location & the hotel. We will definitely return to this hotel for our getaways. Front desk concierge was so friendly & welcoming. Definitely recommending to all that head that way!

I really enjoyed my 10 day stay here. Pros: The walkability to shops, restaurants and attractions is great. I was in a suite on the 22nd floor with a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. Quick elevators. The layout of the suite. The Hilton Honors WiFi was reliable for Discord calls and moderate gaming. Room was clean and daily service reliable. Pool and exercise areas on the top floor were a real plus. Ample towels in room and at pool provided. Curtains block light well. Good climate control. Amazing water pressure in shower. Empty mini fridge for guest items only. Friendly staff! Cons: the suite had a lock-off connector door and adjacent guests were easily audible (voices/TV) even though they weren’t being too loud. Need better insulation between doors to dampen sound. Several USB and plug outlets were not working. Some improvements needed to fix/freshen facility - I.e. crumbling grout in tile bathroom floor, popcorn ceiling removal, better carpet. Recommend: dedicated recycling bin and an option card to indicate towels that could be used again. Would prefer ceramic mugs in kitchen vs (or in addition to) single use paper coffee cups with plastic lids. Reconsider doormen dress code on hot days-no coats! Rave to the same day fix of the mini fridge that was freezing everything inside and replacement of missing curtain wand. They also responded same day to my report of both a broken and wobbly rung on the pool ladder. I would stay here again next time I’m in town to see family.

This place was so nice we were a group of 4 and we got a suit with a king and pull out couch bed. I was perfect for a girl's trip! The kids love the pool it was clean and the view from there was phenomenal! The staff was over the top amazing by giving us as many bottle waters as we wanted! And by text me everyday to make sure I was having a great stay! Also the house keeping was more than wonderful the room was always cleaned and when I asked for a pillow she was more that happy to make sure I got one!!! So thank you to all the wonderful people that made our stay great!

The front desk staff at check in was wonderful. Very friendly. At check out we requested a luggage cart so that we could easily move our 6 pieces of luggage and 6 backpacks. We were rudely told that guests are not allowed to use the luggage carts. When we asked for assistance we were told that no one was available to help. We requested to speak with a manager and were told she was busy. When we threatened to complain to Hilton the manager magically appeared. She was rude but eventually let us use a luggage cart. The hotel is all suites which means that families are likely the primary guests. Luggage carts should be accessible and/or people should be available to help. We will not be staying at or recommending this hotel and will be notifying Hilton separately.
