Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Pocatello

Evening was great, great family get together, plenty of room.

The pool area had a very strong chlorine odor. We had to leave the pool after 20 minutes because our eyes were stinging and watering. In addition, the breakfast was not good. The ‘hot’ items weren’t kept refilled and when they did come out they were wet powdered eggs and cold sausage. We switched to bagels, which were stale. On the other hand, the room was a good size and although there were a few children in the rooms around us, the walls were thick enough that we couldn’t hear them until they were in the hall.

It was a nice hotel to stay at with the kids but the parking lot was somewhat small. Other than that, it was wonderful and I’ll definitely stay here again!

We had 2 families stay, the hotel staff was nice, the property was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was great. We all were surprised by all the choices they had, and the kids had a great time at the pool. The only complaint we had was the beds were pretty hard. That being said, we are going to stay here again on our way back through. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a nice clean room for an escape away from the kids for a night.

Beds here were shockingly bad. We were visiting with family and had to borrow a foam pad to make the bed bearable. Upon closer inspection the hotel is new but everything in it are the cheapest options available. TV is maddening because any button press on the remote will take 2 to 3 seconds to activate if they work which is also hit or miss. Guest laundry are coin operated machines. They probably had to special order them because no one has made anything coin operated for at least a decade. The elevator takes 8 seconds of full movement to go a floor and will lurch once or twice in that time. A lot of small things that are just screwed up because they just didn't bother.
