The Harkness Hotel

We stayed here just one night, with our two kids. The hotel had great character, and was also really comfortable and roomy. The kids loved the beverage machine for the hot chocolate :). And the staff was very friendly. It was an easy distance to Lava Hot Springs, maybe 10-12 minutes, and much quieter. We loved it and would recommend.

Great stay in the Ruby Suite with our family. Clean, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed. Nice staff. Small recommendation might be white noise machines in rooms to help with outside noise. Thanks!

This home was incredibly beautiful. We had a couple families stay in the home and everyone raved about how nice and comfortable the place was. We were in awe, truly. It was so stylish, the beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was open and easy to work in. We will be back for sure and will stay in the incredible hotel next time. This hotel has to be in the top 5 places I’ve ever stayed.

Our stay at Harkness was great. I wasn’t sure what to expect, being that you’re located in a very small town, but this hotel exceeded expectations. It’s an old building but has the modern upgrades. We stayed in the Ebony room and had the best view of the snowy white mountains. The room is filled with windows and natural light, but dark shades to allow for a good nights rest. The room is large, so a king bed would have been ideal. However, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. If you choose to stay here, visit Rae’s across the street for some coffee and breakfast. I would have never known about this place if my family hadn’t moved to the area. You’re close to Pebble Ski Resort and Lava Hot Springs. We will be back.
