Overall a good stay. People are pleasant especially the house keeping staff. My only reason for the 4 star was the safety. For a $400+ room/night, i was expecting a room that is more polished and safe especially with the wirings. I have two kids an infant and toddler and to have the extension cords out from the side if the bed was quite unsafe. Also, the toilet flush thing was so loud… it would wake up my kids when used at night as well as we can hear other people flushing their toilets as well. The room is not as big with very little space for storage. If you are traveling as a couple only then there is plenty of room… but with kids.. strollers etc.. will leave very little space. The view from our ocean front room was fantastic… however the balcony is quite unsafe if you have a toddler… a class type of barrier would be better than the metal railings that any toddler can fit their head into.
The staff are great. Do the breakfast buffet at the Kuhio Beach Grill and hang out at the outside restaurant. And please, tip the morning ladies at the buffet as well as the chief. They are wonderful people and will make your stay pleasant.

This resort changed a lot from last year when my family and I stayed. They are too expensive for what you get. We chose this resort again because last year they had 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella you could get for free at the beach, we however found out that this year they longer do that. The breakfast is $48 per person which is just ridiculously overpriced for bacon and eggs. The resort overall is nice but I could get a lot more for my money at another resort/hotel.

The Marriott Waikiki is superbly sited a block from the beach in the heart of Waikiki. Our room was spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean. The bathroom with it's large walk-in shower was top-notch. Comprised of two towers, the hotel has ABC stores and Starbucks in both areas, two pools (kids and adult-only), several restaurants and delightful open air lounge areas. Every staff member we interacted with was helpful and friendly. There's lots of security features, with access to rest rooms and elevators available only to guests with key cards. Boogie boards, beach chairs and other equipment are included in the resort fee. There's a multi-story parking garage between the two towers, and a drive-through area for all the tour buses. Only downside was loud music from the adult pool area on the weekend, but it didn't go too late. There's an onsite luau which we didn't attend ($$$) but we could watch the show from our room, which was fun.

This is a nice property that we stayed at one night. This is a pricey area. Check-in and luggage storage was easy. Restaurants are convenient and we enjoyed eating dinner while watching the sunset. The linens were comfortable, but if you plan on a child sleeping on a pull out sofa, ask for the linens as soon as you check in. We had to ask 4 times.
Plan to bring your swimsuit for the pool at the hotel as the beach (which is public) was full of cigarette butts and a huge roach.

I can’t believe security came to my door about a loud talking complaint. My husband and I couldn’t have a conversation in our room. Also, the beds were uncomfortable. I paid some decent money to stay there and it just didn’t measure up to my expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this resort to any of my friends and family.

It wasn’t anything fancy. Almost $400/ night with zero accommodations or inclusions. No breakfast included. Nothing kid friendly included. But they gave us a $5 voucher for the most expensive restaurant in the hotel. No problem overcharging everything though. I mean that’s Hawaii. But damn.

Amazing hotel , very kind and helpful staffs . Convenient location right infront of the beach, close to ABC stores with 2 Starbucks in the lobby and right outside of the hotel . Rooms are very clean and spacious. Balcony is nice with city/ocean views . Swimming pool is big and safe , perfect for kids and families. Adult pool is nice too with hot tub .Would definitely come back to this beautiful hotel again .

The first room is as way to small for my family. I upgraded only to have the drain back up causing a horrible smell for the rest of the stay. Nothing even mentioned at the front desk of an apology.
