Trump International Hotel Waikiki

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ka'La'i Waikiki Beach Resort. The resort boasts a lovely island and contemporary aesthetic. The resort is in a convenient location, across the street from the beach and walkable distance to restaurants and shopping. All staff (Valet, Lobby, Housekeeping, Restaurant, and Concierge) were all very friendly, accommodating and provided impeccable service. Hotel amenities satisfied all of our needs. Our hotel room was spacious and had floor to ceiling windows throughout the space, which afforded the most amazing views of the beach, trees, mountain and city night lights. Absolutely stunning! Overall the stay was great ! The staffing customer service was on point , they were welcoming, friendly and always smiling . The facility is a walking distance to the beach , like maybe 2 minutes walk.. Starbucks is across the street so that was great ! And kids get all the beach stuff for free included with the stay , ( floaters , sand toys , umbrellas , surf boards ) The pool area was quiet and relaxing , The kitchenette was clean and house keeping was great . The only thing is our beds were not comfortable, there seemed old or over laid , would sink in , gave me a back ache , :/ Also at the balcony it can be a little noisy with the Hawaiian native performers doing the street performances next door

The location is perfect for our family because it is one of the few properties with 3 bedrooms, unobstructed ocean views, a few steps from sand, a nice short walk to the main strip, and view of the pickleball courts (so we can see when they are available). The customer service is excellent and they have too many amenities to name. This is the only place that we stay when we visit Oahu, 1-3 times a year.

I cannot speak highly enough of this property and it's staff. I travelled with my wife and four young kids and this experience was five stars from the beginning. Staff were always available and eager to help with bags, kids, gear. They had excellent recommendations. There were beach toys, chairs, towels all available. The breakfast buffet was included for two of us and was amazing. The room was spotless every day and the housekeeping staff went the extra mile for the kids by even "tucking in" their stuffed animals. Finally, I was nervous about having to check out by noon and not have our flight until 11pm, the hotel accommodated us in our room, free of charge, until 8pm. Amazing service. I will gladly stay again!

This is the best hotel in Waikiki to accommodate a family of 5! 5 star luxury with family friendliness!

Overall, my experience at the hotel was just okay, with a few notable disappointments. Firstly, I found that the hotel's overall appearance and amenities were a bit dated. While everything was acceptable, it was clear that some updates and renovations were needed to bring the hotel up to modern standards. However, my biggest disappointment came from the lack of assistance from the bell desk when we were leaving. Despite there being several staff members present, they seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping guests. This was particularly frustrating as we had a lot of luggage and were traveling with children and seniors. One staff member even failed to stop a van that was approaching while we were walking to our own vehicle. This lack of assistance and disregard for guest safety is completely unacceptable. Despite these issues, there were some positive aspects of our stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was satisfactory, and the customer service we received at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Additionally, the location of the hotel was convenient for our needs.

Excellent hotel. We stayed 7 nights In a 2 bedroom suite. Service was top notch. Every time I called and had a request it was handled within 5-10 mins. staff extremely friendly. Nice area close to lots of shopping and restaurants. It’s a bit of a walk to Waikiki beach but there are a couple of beaches very close which are just we nice and less busy. The restaurant in the hotel lobby was top notch. We had a 10 pm flight. Usual check out is 12pm but they gave me a 6pm extended late check out free of charge which many hotels don’t do. I really appreciated that traveling with an infant. The suite itself was great. Very sizable. Kitchen well Equipped. Very very clean. Very new washer dryer and all the amenities you have in your own home. I was quite impressed with the attention to detail. The hotel is a nit dated but overall considering the service, staff, location it was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed if.

Great location! Friendly and helpful staff! Fantastic for families!!! We really made use of the washer, dryer and well stocked kitchenette! We will definitely be back!!!!
