Trump International Hotel Waikiki

I cannot speak highly enough of this property and it's staff. I travelled with my wife and four young kids and this experience was five stars from the beginning. Staff were always available and eager to help with bags, kids, gear. They had excellent recommendations. There were beach toys, chairs, towels all available. The breakfast buffet was included for two of us and was amazing. The room was spotless every day and the housekeeping staff went the extra mile for the kids by even "tucking in" their stuffed animals. Finally, I was nervous about having to check out by noon and not have our flight until 11pm, the hotel accommodated us in our room, free of charge, until 8pm. Amazing service. I will gladly stay again!

Overall, my experience at the hotel was just okay, with a few notable disappointments. Firstly, I found that the hotel's overall appearance and amenities were a bit dated. While everything was acceptable, it was clear that some updates and renovations were needed to bring the hotel up to modern standards. However, my biggest disappointment came from the lack of assistance from the bell desk when we were leaving. Despite there being several staff members present, they seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping guests. This was particularly frustrating as we had a lot of luggage and were traveling with children and seniors. One staff member even failed to stop a van that was approaching while we were walking to our own vehicle. This lack of assistance and disregard for guest safety is completely unacceptable. Despite these issues, there were some positive aspects of our stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was satisfactory, and the customer service we received at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Additionally, the location of the hotel was convenient for our needs.

Excellent hotel. We stayed 7 nights In a 2 bedroom suite. Service was top notch. Every time I called and had a request it was handled within 5-10 mins. staff extremely friendly. Nice area close to lots of shopping and restaurants. It’s a bit of a walk to Waikiki beach but there are a couple of beaches very close which are just we nice and less busy. The restaurant in the hotel lobby was top notch. We had a 10 pm flight. Usual check out is 12pm but they gave me a 6pm extended late check out free of charge which many hotels don’t do. I really appreciated that traveling with an infant. The suite itself was great. Very sizable. Kitchen well Equipped. Very very clean. Very new washer dryer and all the amenities you have in your own home. I was quite impressed with the attention to detail. The hotel is a nit dated but overall considering the service, staff, location it was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed if.

If you plan for a family vacation with 5~8 or more in the same room, then this hotel will be the best option in Oahu considering location, safety, convenience, etc.

Our flight was delayed. Upon arrival, the team had prepared sandwiches for us and stuffed toys for our 3 kids. Appreciated the attention to detail. We will be back.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to change hotels upon arrival in Waikiki. I NEVER thought I would stay at a Trump Hotel, yet here we are. Best choice I made! Excellent service. Great location, Floor to ceiling windows with a balcony. Relaxing pool area, and although pool was on the smaller side, I never had a problem finding a chair. It was never crowded or noisy. Pool is heated, which is rare for Hawaii hotels. Hot jacuzzi. Clientele was mostly international, which was great: No loud American families with kids running wild. I recommend paying extra and booking a one bedroom full ocean view. You will be able to see the Friday night fireworks from your balcony. It was beautiful.
