Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort

This resort could not be better. We felt welcome and like family from the time we arrived until we left.

This is our favorite resort on Waikiki! Staff is so friendly and it’s a hidden gem with a baby beach right outside the property.

Our kids really enjoyed the pool and the beach as you walk out the back staff is very friendly

During our five-day stay at this hotel with my family, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The hotel is situated in an excellent location with a breathtaking ocean view. The rooms are clean, adequately spacious, equipped with comfortable beds, and there are plenty of entertaining events. However, there are a few drawbacks to note: the lack of a welcoming committee upon arrival, particularly disappointing given our expectations; the restaurant, especially the breakfast, is prohibitively expensive with small portions, particularly evident in the case of salads, and a moderate level of quality. From my perspective, spending money at the hotel's restaurant is not justifiable. We had hoped for a varied daily breakfast menu and the inclusion of cold (as opposed to exclusively warm and hot) meal options.

When I checked out, I lost my suitcase waiting for the valet service. A few hours later, I visited the hotel again to ask about my luggage, but the hotel responded not kindly. The bag contained my blood pressure medication and diabetes medication, and my children's cold medication. I have 10 days left on the trip, but I am worried about my diabetes because I can't get my prescription medication.

The resort fees were exorbitant and they charged $100 a day for a rollaway for my kid. Breakfast was extra. Cleaning staff were amazing , front desk staff were ok, valets were friendly- main complaint was almost $1000 extra of hidden resort fees and taxes, so beware when u book it’s not the total. Pool is freezing and gets no sun even on hot days it’s hidden by tall buildings. Monkey Pod restaurant is a great location. Music is great.

The personal was great very friendly people, place nice and clean, a really nice place for families my kids just loved are host FRANK was great he give us lot of information about places we can go a was a great help for us, and of course we're planning to go back soon at the same hotel😃

Firstbtime visit to hawaii with my family. We had two lovely ocean view rooms. Veey much suggest them. Great views of the ocean and beach area. Lovely staff were all helpful. Rooms were large with planty of room and clean.

The swimming pool and hot tub area was very clean and well staffed. I would have like to have more dining options. The two restaurants are very nice but geared towards young adults with live music. I would like a nice family-friendly restaurants that I can sit down and share a meal and have a conversation with friends. The two restaurants were too loud to enjoy a meal.
