Hands down, this was the BEST hotel/resort experience we’ve ever had! The staff made us feel like we were family and the atmosphere was so welcoming and familiar even though it was our first time there! When I go back to Oahu it’s the only place I’ll stay!!!

Great location and had a wonderful family vacation. If noise is a factor, may want to upgrade to ocean view.

It is on the beach, but having catamarans frequently taking up space is so inconvenient it actually negates the pleasure of the nice beach! We went with a toddler and set up first thing so not in the main heat of the day, catamarans show up and move our things (no signage says where to boats are going to land, only when they show up they block sections of the beach). By the evening they have churned up the sand so much that rocks are out and injured myself slipping on a rock. If no boats would have been perfect, with the boats find another beach hotel. Additional customer service? We departed with a specifically cleared bill and the hotel put a hold on our account that day AFTER we left! 10 days later it’s still there!!! Tried online customer service… still no resolution. Another reason to avoid outrigger. The sad thing is that the room was great, the cultural activities were awesome, Waikiki strip location is fantastic, the cleaning staff were fantastic BUT if you end up with over a thousand dollars being held on your credit card… won’t take the chance again at this rate. Fingers crossed the hotel gets back to me this year.

Amazing vacation experience for our family of 4 with two young kids. This may be very well the best hotel in the area given the friendly staff, amazing location with pool and ocean side by side, walking to the main street for food and shopping. The staff is extraordinary! I want to mention Gigi and Dylan for their hard work and smile in the lounge area where we had our breakfast and dinner at cocktail hour. Looking forward to our visit next year!

Good family hotel, nice perks and eco friendly. Good staff, location and food options. Wish the pool was a bit bigger or a second one on site. The pool could be a bit warmer and wish there was a hot tub for all guests.

Everything about the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort was fantastic, from the hotel itself, its location in the heart of Waikiki, being right off a beautiful beach, and with epic views of Diamondhead. Having a venue for entertainment (Blue Note - we saw Arrested Development) and amazing restaurants (Duke's, Hula Grill) right on the property, make the OUTRIGGER the perfect location for a 'staycation,' which is what us locals call a vacation here in paradise where we live. Within the hotel, the homage and respectful representation of legendary waterman, Duke Kahanamoku and his family was a truly wonderful bonus. The hotel and its staff, including the Valets (shout-out to Elika), Blue Note and their staff (Yvette), Hula Grill and Duke's and their respective staffs were all professional, courteous, and very welcoming. Mahalo nui loa!

Clean, friendly, accommodating, and great location. Central to restaurants, beach, activities. My kids liked making free leis in the lobby and being able to grab an açaí bowl from Sunrise Shack in the mornings and go eat it on the beach before a swim/surf. The wait time for the elevators was long, but everything else was perfect!

Everyone tried to be helpful during our vacation but the ones that shined the most were Clifton (not sure if I spelled this right) from the Bell Desk and Rowena from the front lobby. He gave us his time to explain things that are important to know when they closed the road for a festival. Rowena, on the other hand, saved me by helping me with my baby food situation. Thank you a lot!
