Our stay at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani began on a rocky note due to the initial room we were given, which was supposed to have an ocean view but did not meet our expectations. However, after bringing this to the attention of the front desk, they promptly relocated us to a better room on the second day. From there, our stay improved significantly and became quite enjoyable and relaxing. The pool area was very nice, and the children on our trip had a great time enjoying both the pool and the ping pong tables available. The Splash Bar/restaurant exceeded our expectations, and we enjoyed several meals there, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One small inconvenience was the lack of coffee service after 9:30 AM. My wife would have appreciated an evening coffee, but unfortunately, it wasn't available. Despite this, our overall experience was very positive. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. We would definitely consider staying at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani again on a return trip. ---

I recently stayed at the Princess for a business trip, I've stayed here several times. The hotel is a bit tired even though part of it has been (fairly) recently renovated/updated. My room was clean, only two of the four elevators were operating so there were long waits but the location is hard to beat, right next to restaurants, shopping and just across the street from the beach. Parking is $49/night which seems a bit high but all of the downtown hotels charge a premium for parking. If you're going for a holiday or business trip this is a good spot. They have a bar and restaurant on-site which is convenient and there is a new (to me) area to play pool, ping pong and foosball so it's good for kids or adults.

If it wasn’t for two children in the hallway we might still be stuck in the elevator. No one from the hotel answered the emergency calls. Lots of loud noise below.

We stayed there for 7 days and it was amazing! Friendly pool staff. Resort fee includes a mobile wifi and towel that you can bring to the beach. Beach is just a 5 min walk from the hotel. International Market place is just beside it and Royal Hawaiian center is just right across the street. Daily housekeeping. Room is a bit outdated but we dont care since we spend most of our time outside. Bed comfortable! My two kids loved it. Only downside is the $45USD parking and pool closes at 7pm.

Overall, it is a very nice place. My family had a good time. Food places, beach and lot of other things are near by. Yoga, meditation classes were included. Parking is not free ( around $50/day). Also, my son left his wallet in the room, The day we checked out, he realized that his $50 bill was missing from his wallet. Knowing that, he should have not left his wallet in the room ( in the drawer). I was not sure, who to complaint.

Like: Ideal location within close proximity to beach/dining/shopping. Dislike: Elevators do not require key-card to access room floors. Anyone off the street can walk to a room. As a result, I take extra caution letting younger kids walk back to the room.
