OHANA Waikiki East by Outrigger

Beware this hotel is under construction which was not informed until after I booked the hotel. The room & pool was clean & remodel. During the day you will heard construction noises which didn’t let my toddler take his nap. The walls are thin & can heard everything at night & woke us. No microwave unless you have suite so my son had to drink his milk cold. Overall it was ok. Walking distance to be beach & restaurants.

The staff was really welcoming and attentive to all needs of our stay . Our room was amazing better than I expected . Loved the distance from beach and shopping all within walking distance . Would totally recommended friends and family to stay here. Can’t wait to go back .

My room was under the floor where construction renovations were being made. All the constant drilling sounded like it was in my room. The we're paper thin. There was a 2 to 3 inch gap at bottom of door because it didn't fit the space. When neighbors besides us closed their door our door rattled it would scare me because it made our door sound like someone one was trying to get in. The room next-door had children that would wake up and scream between 5am. and 6am. every morning. The drilling from construction started 9 ended about 3. I was told at check-in to ask everyday for a different room. We did and nothing was available. The last day something was. I was never told that construction going to be above our room, and you could also hear our neighbors talk in our room. We have never experienced any vacation like this. The hallway to get to our room stinks. Room very outdated. I also have asthma and use a inhaler often because of smell and dust. So disappointed it was a nightmare staying there. It was supposed to be a vacation of a lifetime for my daughters and I.

I booked 2 rooms (family trip) first nite the room next to my nieces the guest were very loud and my nieces couldn’t sleep until 4am they said they called security and nothing was done very disappointed….I was not aware that construction was going on, on the property and across the street. Across the street they started at 7am ugh!!!! Really… but that’s not the hotels fault,overall the staff was very nice and clean will I stay there again yes I will

Room was very dated but clean. The building is undergoing renovation and the main lobby was closed. No microwave or ice machine. Staff was nice and friendly. Location is excellent for those with kids like us. Across the street from Waikiki Market and 5 minute walk to Waikiki Beach. If your not picky about the looks of your room than I say stay here.

Was a good hotel the only problem was the room downstairs was very loud since they were all your kids

The property is undergoing remodeling, some areas are still work in progress and some have not been worked on yet. I think the overall experience was just “good”. My family stayed here for our first time at Waikiki, location was amazing, everything was at walking distance. And the staff was very very friendly and welcoming.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time. It was clean, comfortable, convenient! Great stay!

Nice hotel close to shopping and restaurants. Perfect for me and my 2 kids.

No pool, power outage fo 13 hours, people coming in to measure countertops, the rooms smelled of mold and were very uncomfortable lumpy beds, lots of construction, and very noisy. All around bad experience. I blame Orbits for all this, you should have NEVER book this hotel for our family. I was there to celebrate the end of my cancer treatments, this was a huge disappointment. NEVER again will I book anything with Orbits!!!
