Gale South Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton

Perfect location. Great sized hotel for a family looking for both a safe and well-located stay in Miami. The rooftop pool was a great finish to every day! And the staff could not have been more friendly.

The location was perfect: a block away from the beach, less than 10-minute walk to Lincoln Road, just a few minutes drive from Ocean Drive and Española Way. Walgreens was also conveniently just at the end of the block. The hotel decor is really Art Deco chic. Well thought out. Only con about building design is accessibility. There are no immediate ramps to get in/out of the hotel, hubby had to carry the stroller up/down the short steps each time. Check in was a breeze. Staff is friendly and approachable. Communication with concierge was via text message which was very convenient. A few issues we encountered: bathroom floor needed to be re-vacuumed (it felt sandy, staff came by to clean it right away); one of the curtains were jammed; infant crib/cot mattress was lumpy/unsupportive (our toddler slept with us in bed instead); shower leaked onto floor. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again! And just a tip: head to the pool on a weekday before 11 am. We went at 9:30 am and had the whole rooftop to ourselves.

My husband and I had a wonderful honeymoon staying at the Kaskades/Gale hotel. The room was beyond our expectations. The hotel is one block away from the beach and is within proximity to everything. Havana night on Wednesdays at Gale's Regent Cocktail Club is a must see. Gale's beach club was very enthusiastic with providing their services to ensure we were comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The fruit-infused water at the lobby was so refreshing and one of the many highlights of our honeymoon stay. Thank you to our concierge Edgar, for providing us with daily events at the hotel and booking informations prior to our arrival. We would definitely come back in the future. We would recommend the hotel to friends and family if they ever want to visit the Miami Beach area.
