Margaritaville Jacksonville Beach

Great location - the hotel is so much fun! I booked this for family. The restaurant was very good as well. Had a blast playing "name that tune" one evening. Rooms were amazing. We had the balcony on the side of the building - I think it said partial ocean view - but it was spectacular. We could see the ocean and the neighborhood.

Our stay here was marvelous! Check-in was so easy and the suite was immaculate. The bed is very comfortable and we loved our view too! Staff is friendly and very helpful, and made traveling with a toddler so much easier for us. PS the little guy loved the room too!

From the minute you check in, the staff makes you feel as though you are part of the family! Rooms are clean and well laid out. Food is good, if not gourmet. The drink choices are awesome. We've stayed here twice, and we'll certainly be back!!!

Hotel lobby is beautiful. One working elevator was challenging. We stayed here since it was our halfway point to Savannah GA and close to Shands since we had a sick child that could have needed to be admitted. Our room was absolutely perfect!

I absolutely loved my stay here. Everything was literally perfect! Upon check in adults are greeted with a margarita and the kiddos are greeted with fruit punch. The staff members were so pleasant and accommodating. I have no complaints at all! I can’t wait until our next visit. I will definitely be booking this property again!

No AC in our room and could not get a new room until after 10pm with a toddler. Manager was not willing to make things right. They offered $60 refund for our inconvenience.

Staying at Margaritaville Jacksonville Beach felt like paradise. The moment I walked into the building to check-in I was greeted with free margaritas (alcoholic and nonalcoholic). It took less than 5 minutes to check-in, and I was given a unique bracelet that acted as both my room key and elevator key: it’s the only way to move around the premises. love the built-in security of it, especially for parents traveling with their children. The fourth floor is where the laundry and fitness rooms were located; however, I spent most of my time on the second and first floors. The second floor has their gift shop and a restaurant, while the first floor has their pool and second restaurant and bar. The first floor restaurant, which is a bar and grill, is where I dined. The drinks were amazing, especially the pink Cadillac, and the seafood sampler was incredible and cooked to perfection. Venturing outside of the hotel was easy. The hotel sits directly on the beach, so I didn’t have far to walk—a few feet or so—and the pier was closer than I thought which was amazing because I walked everywhere during my visit. The cost of access to the pier is $2; however, since I was staying at Margaritaville I only paid $1.50. The pier is equipped with several rentals: bikes, fishing rods, etc. I wanted to fish but I wouldn’t have anywhere to store the fish nor be able to cook it because my hotel room is not equipped with a kitchenette. I did spend my time relaxing to the sound of the waves.

The front desk staff were terrible , They didn’t want to check us in , we reserved and paid Expedia , although they saw the reservation and the itinerary number as they said that we have to call Expedia ourselves to get them to release the payment , which is not our job at all , we were so tired after a long drive and my to kids were sleeping on the floor waiting for the room , and they were soooooo careless , we asked them to call us Expedia and see what they want , didn’t even care Sooooo bad experience

We loved this property for our staycation…. Our room was water front and my baby loved the view. I will definitely stay here again, with the beach view…

Last minute getaway with my kids after Christmas. VERY convenient as it was easy to get to, has free parking and convenient to great bars and restaurants. Had some noise issues with my initial room, but management was extremely helpful and immediately remedied the situation. Poolside/beach bar was fantastic. Only ding was not being able to put room and deposit on separate cards, which gets pricey for two rooms upfront.
