One Ocean Resort and Spa

The staff was very helpful and polite. Right on the beach alot of bang for your buck. Would recommend and syltay again. The only complaint is outlets bring a 4 in 1 plug or however many to accommodate your charging mreds for phone, laptop, tablet, kids tablet... etc. Other than that its worth a look in a great lication for shopping eating or just walking around and takin in scenery

The property was located on the beach, which was nice. It was well maintained. It was located to lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, so you didn't really need to have your car out of valet the whole time. I believe the bathrooms in the rooms could be larger, when you are staying with your family, you need a little more room. There was no self-serve ice machines, which would have been handy. Would have liked to have seen more couch seating outside, not just at the restaurant, but out by the pool. The housekeeping and valet employees were great, did wonderful jobs! Also the beach employees were working hard to make sure everyone could have lounge chairs and umbrellas when they came down to the beach, which was nice.

Check in was great except they forgot to provide the WiFi code so we had to call down for it and it wasn't in any of our check in information... room is good except we didn't have a tv remote so we had to call and have one delivered... Tried to get on the elevator yesterday and it was full with your housekeeping crew who made NO attempt to allow us entry or apologized that we were unable to ride along... ate breakfast in your restaurant this am (first time eating breakfast here) and was told you were sold out (we were there around 845a) and were offered dining in the bar - which we were completely ok with BUT we sat near your dining room and watched and saw your dining room was never full and in fact not more that 2-3 families came after us for breakfast. Maybe you had a lot of no shows, however your dining room was almost empty when we came as well. I am a repeat guest who has stayed here multiple times (we have dogs) and we like your location. Just not sure if you're worth the extra money anymore when I can stay down the road (on the beach) for less.

For the price paid, I am disappointed in the quality of this hotel. The 2 beds were full size not “Queen” and the beach view wasn’t as nice as I’d like for paying $300. Also couldn’t park my own vehicle and was charged over $40 for a valet I didn’t want to utilize having special needs children. The rooms are very small and the bathroom is smaller than my closet at home, couldn’t even close the door without hitting my foot as I used the toilet and the smell of marijuana through the vents by another guest was a turn off. Staff did find us a new room but it seemed that wasn’t good enough to me in a facility that should be non smoking. I feel I would’ve had a better stay somewhere that cost at least $100 less. The area was great but I would never stay at this hotel again.

Took my family to OE this weekend. They Loved it. Trent, Nikk and the front desk staff took care of us. We will be coming back soon!

We are in an ocean front room and was disappointed to see the thin white waffle knot robes. Was hoping/expected the cotton/terry cloth robes. And especially miss the shank drawer and beverages. That is one of the main reason we stay here every time we are in Jacksonville without without our family.

I stayed here while on business trip so I didn’t get to enjoy the beach, but I loved the beautiful view from my room. Hotel accommodations are very nice. The lobby and room are beautiful. Hotel staff was amazing and very helpful. You can easily walk to the many restaurants and bars from the hotel. Definitely recommend Poe’s Tavern and Lemon Bar across the street. I would say that the hotel has more of an adults/ couples feel than family.

Great valet and front desk service. Excellent location distance from the beach. Had my family and I been able to stay another day, we would have tried out the spa services. Walking distance from several restaurants was extremely convenient.
