We enjoyed our stay in March 2024 in an oceanfront king room with balcony, which overlooked the pool. The rooms are a little dated, bed comfortable, the pillows could be a bit more substantial, the shower amenities are wonderful, towels could be a little fluffier - but all fine, no major gripes. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Maid service stopped by every day and took care of anything we needed. Lovely wide clean beach with no seaweed or tar balls, and we enjoyed the umbrella/chair rentals. A little over 1 mile to get to the main part of Jacksonville Beach and just a bit farther than that to get to Neptune/Atlantic Beach where we enjoyed the shopping and the North Beach Fish Camp, Coop 303, Poes Tavern, Mezza Luna and The Fish Company restaurants - all delicious. Only downside was we never got to enjoy the pool/hot tub. We were there over spring break, and there were a lot of children in the pool (with accidents that caused at least two pool closures) and the hot tub generally had 6-14 people in it and it was quite small. People staking out their pool chairs before 8 a.m. then not returning for hours. It's pet friendly, so lots of barking dogs. Family friendly place. Love kids and dogs, but we had neither with us, so were hoping for a little less noise and the capability to enjoy the pool amenities, but not unexpected for that to happen over spring break. Would definitely return.

This hotel is advertised as “family” friendly. I was traveling with toddler for the first time. Haven’t had a vacation in 4 years was hoping to have good experience When we arrived the parking wasn’t available, had to park across the street. But got charged for parking daily. When I checked in I ask for crib and high chair. Right away the front desk said no high chair, but on property details it said it was available Waited for baby crib for hours. Crib was never delivered. He fell asleep and had to put him to bed next to me, very dangerous and unsafe for 2 year old. Next day I asked where is the crib. Front desk said no crib but can provide playpen. When I got back in the room playpen was there but not set up, I didn’t bother with it because I don’t know how to set it up. No high chair in restaurant either when we are there. Room was not clean. There was some clothing left from previous guest stay, men’s under shirt. Gross… The sliding door, dirty I had to clean it because my baby was playing next to it and kept touching dirt I asked for extra towel but never got some so I had to chase the house keeper…Baby requires extra towel due to constant washing and cleaning bathing. The luggage cart is impossible to move wheels are stuck!!! I am very unhappy with this experience. Bathroom wasn’t clean either. You could see dirt in corners . Probably my worst experience with courtyard Marriott, will never stay there again!!!

I overall really enjoyed my stay. Friendly and helpful staff! Great amenities. Loved the ocean view. Clean room. The only problem was as a professional, trying to work on a project while there is an extremely loud live band was terrible. Don't need a live band that was going to play for 4 loooonnnnggg hours! Save your money! I ran out of the hotel to get some quiet on the beach, I saw kids holding thier ears and eveyone at the pool was over it after an hour as some wanted to read by the pool. Will not stay again, if there is a live band.

Pool area needs work, gates do not work. Very dangerous for children. Hugh liability. Room had bad smell. Coffee machine spit burning water on you and leaked from the bottom. Toilet leaked at the base so bathroom floor stayed wet. Towels were not soft or very white. Network/internet did not work and tv had little to no available programs. Sliding glass door lock was jury rigged, as we were on the pool again Hugh liability. We asked for late check yet cleaning staff still came at 11 banging on the door to service the room. Bad communication among staff

We arranged a family mini getaway as our daughter lives out of state and was here for business. The hotel was exactly what we hoped for, including location!! Lovely waterfront view and amenities, wonderful staff, and great amenities. We enjoyed the breakfast very much before leaving. Definitely recommend!!

The hotel is in a nice location. I like that there is a restaurant and pool. I did not like that kids and adults often blocked the steps of the pool and threw balls that nearly hit me. Also there was little hot water for a shower.

The first room we had to stay in it was so dirty that my child was up coughing and sneezing all night. The next morning we have to ask for a new room. We moved into the new room and I had to go in and clean the bathroom. There was mildew around the rim of the sink the tub bottom it was not very clean. We were for and a half hours refuse a pool one day for deck cleaning. On our balcony we had a marijuana cigarette. I had to go ask somebody to come up and remove it in our new clean room. After being there on the on Wednesday we were asked to not be in the room for 15 minutes take everything off the floor they were going to clean carpets and it would be dry again in four and a half hours. We took this trip because my husband passed away and we have three children. This is not a clean place I've never been in a place when you open the door all you do is smell smell marijuana. I also have never stayed in a place that the person who is paying for the room has to pay for parking. But yet when I went there to park there was no availability of parking. I was then told that I could park across the street that's just what I wanted to do with an 89-year-old mother-in-law and three children. How do you think my stay was all we wanted to do is go to a clean healthy place to try to heal instead I did the best I could to heal my children and yet keep myself together. I will never never stay in another courtyard or any Marriott again
