Simple space that was perfect for our family. The mattress was a bit thin and springy. Absolutely loved the included breakfast and can’t beat being right on the beach.

My husband and I were visiting friends and we decided to get a room on the beach to make it more like a vacation. We booked the room well in advance and got one on the first floor because we have a little fur baby we travel with. We stayed here a couple times 10 years ago and it was SO NICE! This year we check in and the VERY PLEASANT front desk person said I'm sorry to tell you but there is no TV in your room its broken. She said the hotel was booked so they could not give us a new room or a new TV at that time. I asked for a discount which I received $20 off the bill. I wish I could remember her name now because she was excellent and so genuine. The room we were in was basically in the lobby so it would get loud at times especially when people check in or asking questions or coming and going from breakfast and pool. We picked this place because it had a restaurant right on the beach. Well it was closed and just the outside patio opened a day or so later. They use to have complimentary chair and umbrella but now its $48 (per day) for two not so great chairs and an umbrella. Not worth it especially if you are not going to sit on the beach all day. I like this place but too expensive for what you get. Next year we will stay elsewhere and walk to the beach.

The hotel was good. Could improve upon greeting guests and reminding them of dining options for breakfast and the surrounding area. Other than that the staff were ok and the room was clean. There was a weird knocking sound in the bathroom and one light controlled everything in there. It would do to separate these especially if your guests have small children and one may need to leave a light on for them in the night when they venture to the bathroom.

I just spent four nights at the Amelia Seaside Inn with my daughter and granddaughter, a toddler. I chose it due to its location right on the beach. We reserved a small suite which included a sitting area with a view of the ocean. It was perfect for us. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The only thing that would take a star away is that it's in need of a facelift. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend it, especially for families.

This hotel is awesome in terms of location and service. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are comfortable enough for a family of 4. Great view! The walk-in shower was great. Breakfast was included and it is ok. There is enough variety though. We were surprised by this hotel. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Amelia Island. This hotel is highly recommended!

The beach was steps from the hotel, and the front desk arranged our chairs/umbrella for us. It was quiet and family friendly. The restaurant in front of the hotel made it convenient so that we never had to leave for dinner or lunch the next day. The hotel’s breakfast is better than most.

We had a partial ocean view suite, but it did not look like the photos online. In our bathroom, the toilet was right in front of the door and you had to straddle the toilet to open and close the door. The bed mattress was so hard that we got no sleep at all the first night. It was like sleeping on a board. The second night we were so exhausted that we got partial sleep. We asked another couple across the hall how their mattress was, and they said it was too soft, so apparently the mattresses differ room-to-room. Also, it is right next to beach public access and parking. My husband and I were sitting on a bench enjoying the sound of the surf, when two individuals standing right behind us proceeded to talk to one another using every expletive in the book with no regard for who could hear, including children and the elderly. Not the hotels fault at all...just be aware it's next to a public beach and all that goes with that...like the loud cars playing the loud music in the parking lot. On the positive, the rooms were very quiet. No hallway noise and couldn't hear the outside noise from where we were. Breakfast was included. The sunrises were amazing. The staff was cordial. Housekeeping did not clean our room for the two nights we were there, but that was fine since it was only two nights (no "do not disturb" signs for the doors).

Very pleasant stay. Excellent staff. Very clean and convenient Right on a beautiful beach. On site pool is small and not great for adults but kids love it. Breakfast is good. Had an issue at check in but got it resolved to our satisfaction.

Upon entering the room smelled so strongly of an air freshener. The smell was an overpowering masked smell which gave us a headache. No problem, we thought we'd open the balcony door. The balcony door was so hard to open and unlock. We weren't able to use the balcony as often as we'd like. The sofa bed was so worn, the mattress wouldn't lie flat. It had a huge bump from the fold. We had our children sleep with their head at the foot of the bed. They both slept poorly. The main bed was so awkwardly positioned below the headboard, that the bathroom door couldn't fully open and even opening it enough to enter or exit the bathroom caused it to hit the bed. The room was definitely worn, however that wasn't our main issue The only positive was that it was a very close walk to the beach. But, we felt that it was absolutely not worth the amount of money we spent. We would much rather walk across the street and have a more comfortable stay. We would definitely not stay here again.
