Avid Hotels Melbourne Viera, an IHG Hotel

This by far was one of the best for a handful of our baseball families. Loved the lobby area, great place for parents to hang out as well as the kids. Our room did have a musty smell but other than that to many good things, it wasn't to bad.

Right from the moment I walked in the front door, Samual behind the desk acknowledged me even while assisting another customer. He then was very efficient (getting the next person started as he completed the last guest) and had me (3rd in line) checked in in a matter of minutes. My kid loved the Easter egg hunt they had at the hotel also. Great job

We were in the area to visit some friends. We stayed three nights. The room and the hotel was clean and comfortable overall. The bed was a very soft and it dipped a bit in the middle, so now the most comfortable for us. Breakfast was always stopped and sufficient. The only issue aside from the bed being too soft was that there was a big kids baseball tournament going on in the area, so the hotel was overrun by young boys in the morning and in the evening. In the evening one night it was chaotic, with the parents hanging out and drinking in the lobby and the boys running everywhere, including outside in the parking lot. There was only one young lady on staff at the desk and she could not keep it under control and was having a bit of a hard time with the chaos.

So clean and perfect for us family. Very comfortable and customer service was great will definitely recommend.
