Great for large families

I love the fact that the staff was not overbearing about rules. It’s never a good stay when the staff is constantly watching over you. I live in town and rented a room so the kids can use the pool. My daughter was able to have a few friends stop by at different times to swim with her and everything worked out so nicely. My kids enjoyed their staycation in town for April break.

Very spacious room with kitchen. Breakfast was great. Our room was on the first floor, but people were smoking and it smelled in the hallway. Not great at all when you travel with young children.

I loved my stay at this hotel. My husband and I needed some quality time together as we have 3 children, grandma offered to babysit for us and all we wanted to do was have a quiet evening, to wake up uninterrupted and to be served breakfast that neither of us had to cook .. .. And what a treat it was ! The hotel was clean staff was friendly and to our surprise our room even had a jacuzzi so we were able to relax our muscles which was such a treat. The breakfast area was bright, extremely clean and well stocked, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning, this time with the kids because we know they would love the amenities like the pool, basketball and ofcourse the breakfast 😊

I stayed for one night at this property. It was spacious and the staff was great. The amenities are a little outdated but my family and I enjoyed it! I recommend this property.

An upgrade is needed at this hotel. Its been a good place but with all the new hotels around they need to upgrade the rooms and facilities. Too many children running the halls this visit. Uncomfortable bed. We will probably stay elsewhere next time.

I was there Wednesday with my kids no hot water wasn’t informed when I checked in, so had no choice but to stay there with my kids no hot water no refund or any like of credit crazy Thursday I was there I paid full because they said the hot water was back only to find out they had no hot water and told me everyone was complaining I was also charged 2 times for the room still waiting on my refund and my deposit to drop smh

Any time we stay in this hotel is amazing. We feel so welcome and fabulous. The manager and every employee who service us are amazing peoples who treat you like family and make you feel so special. Thanks Marriot Residence Inn for a bless time me and my husband always have in your hotel at Southington location.

Breakfast was great,staff super friendly & very welcoming, happily allow dogs and give them a special treat. It was nice that they had a pool but it was empty the entire time - we realized why when none of the 5 kids we we’re traveling with ages 5-16 could bare to swim because the water was so cold. Hallway’s stunk of pot and cigarettes… surprising for a “non” smoking hotel? Dishes put away dirty in our room, 1 glass put away broken… just not up to scale of your typical Marriott.

Front desk associate did not know that there were essential personnel exemptions to the State COVID Quarantine mandate. At 11pm after we traveled 10 hrs (having reserved the room 3 weeks prior), he was trying to keep us (a family of 6 including newborn) From our room if we weren’t willing to quarantine there for 14 days. We had to show him his state’s own order and prove we were traveling for essential federal Business. Had no issue after that, but it was very stressful and frightening that night. Military transfer season is beginning to roll, so maybe informing employees about the exemptions is best so a military family doesn’t sleep in their car or lose reservation money because employees simply weren’t aware. I don’t blame the employee and we were able to stay in our room 30 mins after we searched through the order, that went into effect AFTER we were already on the road. Prior to travel, I checked all state orders for preparation, so I really didn’t know how further to prep on my end. No breakfast options are offered, but there is a Dunkin Donuts walking distance next door.
