Courtyard by Marriott Waterbury Downtown

Overall not a bad hotel. The room is average - clean but has a faint funny smell. Arrival was a little annoying. The entrance has a traffic circle for temporary parking but the area is so tight despite the large property that is was very hard to maneuver around other cars stopped there. It seems like a few cars were there long term despite all the 10 min parking signs. The lobby was overly hot. Check in staff was very nice and helpful. As usual, connecting to the free WiFi was difficult. The pop-ups when connecting to the bonvoy WiFi network were blank and had to be reattempted multiple times. Front desk staff attempted to help with connection but was unsuccessful so they gave me a number for their WiFi provider but I opted not to waste my time with that and just used my cellular data and hotspot for my kids devices

It suited our needs. Convenient location as we were visiting family nearby.

Liked front desk staff. In particular, Landon went above and beyond with my room issue. He is a true credit to your business.. dislike was the competency of f&b staff. Sweet kids but grossly under trained. I'm a chef at a hotel on jersey shore. You are losing big money opportunities with f&b staff in place

I attended a wedding and stayed with my family for one night. The staff were very nice and pleasant to all of us. Very clean and great location centrally located. Highly recommended.

Best Hotel we have stayed at in a long time. Staff was wonderful, they have room for trailers and took care of me and my family!

The check in was was great! She greeted us with a smile and made you feel like your family.

Whenever in Waterbury it’s convenient to stay here while visiting family. At night it’s quiet and you can get a good nights sleep without disturbance. Beds are very comfortable here as well.

One of my two rooms were not ready until 6 hours after my official check in. The desk clerk was nice but not well informed about when my room was going to be ready so left me my family frustrated.
