It was clean. Strong smell of cleaner that made me congested. Loud people in the halls and kids running in the HALLS. A LOT OF SLAMMING DOORS both nights

Walls are paper thin. Heard kids screaming and running down the halls around 6 am. Hallways smelled humid. Room overall wasn’t bad. They use dove products. Beds are ok. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good.

We had to stay at the Holiday Inn express in Southington for a family issue. So our day was however, enjoyable, and we always love the hot breakfast at the Holiday Inn and the comfortable rooms.

Staff was super helpful and quick with check-in, along with check-out. Breakfast in the morning was delicious but the food got taken so quickly by large families. Besides that, my guest and I had a wonderful stay and will come back.

Really poor stay. First the positive: The communal area was clean and breakfast was passable. The negatives: The hallways had a bad odor and the carpets were stained. The doors had a huge gap in the frame, allowing light and sound in. To that point: there were people partying across from us and the front desk didn’t address our complaints at midnight on a Wednesday. I had to go across the hall and tell them to quiet down. Do not recommend. Not fit for business or family travel. Seems more like a trucker stop.

The property was clean and the customer service was great. However, my family found the beds to be too soft and very uncomfortable. Additionally, there was only pork served for breakfast and nothing was for individuals that don't eat pork

My husband and I traveled from Maine to Connecticut for our 98th family reunion. The stay at you hotel was nice. All of the staff was very helpful with all our needs. I will deffinitly stay here again.

I have stayed here a few times. Very close to Compounce. They’ve built a nice patio area with a BBQ. The pool was crystal clear and I enjoyed a nice swim while the kids were at the amusement park. Beds are very comfortable. Staff was lovely. My only complaint would be there was a teen girls soft ball team staying on my floor - and they traveled in packs running up and down the hall. Finally had to get my “mom” voice and yell at them when it was after 10! Got quiet after that ;) but really - it is a great hotel. Breakfast was good too - although for some reason they didn’t make oatmeal that Sunday - and that’s my jam! But - fresh fruit and yogurt and hot coffee! Good deal! The kids like the pancake machine!
