Property was great, super convenient to walk to the off-leash dog park. But Expedia promised (and charged extra for) a jetted tub in the private bedroom, even though the hotel removed those 5 months ago. We went in expecting jacuzzi adult evening without our kids, but we're confronted with giant bunk beds to remind us that we are still parents above all us. Plus the TV had parental controls that blocked anything above PG, and the front desk didn't know the code.

Me and my family recently stayed at the Holiday Inn for 2 nights. We arrived 45 minutes early to Durango but were told they weren’t running early so they didn’t let us check in early. When we finally were able to check in at 3:00 we went to our room and saw that the carpet by the bed had some HUGE burn marks and looked pretty worn. We let that go as we were not trying to make a big deal out of it. The second night we were there we were all in the room relaxing as a man just came in our room asking if our “TV was working”? He didn’t knock or declare who he was. I went down to the lobby to go ask if they had a maintenance man checking TV’s and they confirmed he was legit. I told them that was unprofessional and unacceptable for a man to just walk into a room without knocking not announcing himself. I have a 14 year old daughter that could have been in there by herself. The whole experience with Holiday Inn was not very pleasant.

Best hotel in Durango! Staff is super helpful, rooms are clean and spacious. When friends/family come to Durango, this is where they stay. Burger Theory and CJ complete the package!

Having a backup cook when your main cook calls in would be nice. We purposely choose hotels that have complimentary breakfast and we had nothing. The beds were also very uncomfortable. Black out curtains would have also been nice. I have never been to a hotel where each room did not have them. We actually saw a couple having sex when we returned to our room the night we arrived. It was not fun explaining that to our children. I really don't even understand the reasoning behind why a hotel would provide privacy to their guests.

Only a few of the staff were friendly. Most of the girls working the front desk and made whispered comments because we had kids with us. Especisally bad when they thought we couldnt hear them. The housekeepers were kind and respectful and one person working the front desk was nice. The staff in the restuarant were great, even with us having kids. The dog policy was frustrating since most of the time they were not on leashes and their owners just let them do as they please. Having kids with severe animal allergies made it difficult when walking though the lobby.

Traveled with family and pet. The back area has a trail you can take your dog out for a walk by the river. Breakfast was good but should be included with stay. So we had to pay extra for the hot breakfast buffet. Staffs were friendly; there is burger/ bar downstairs on the premises. The only thing that sucks is the main popular restaurants open till 4 and 5 pm. The hotel is off the main highway going towards cortez so you'll have a easy way out of town.

This is a great place to stay in Durango. The staff were great as we had a number of requests for a family event.

Not one but both elevators weren't functional. The odds of this are near zero unless their maintenance was very neglected. We had to take the service elevator. I had to pay $10 just to park and breakfast was also $10/person, which I skipped. There were inadequate towels for 2 adults and 2 children. Overall, very overpriced for a poor experience.

This place is great! Suites are nicely setup for a small family. Everything is quiet. Easy location to get to. CJ at the restaurant is awesome!

UNCLEAN. BAD. There were hairs in the linens: Bedding, towels, etc. This means the Housekeeping staph (No pun intended. Staph are a family of infectious bacteria) did not properly clean the room. Hair in the bedding means the staph did not change the linens after the previous guests checked out. The staph simply made the bed after the previous guests checked out. TERRIBLE. UNCLEAN. UNSANITARY. OUTRAGEOUS. REPORTED T0 THE COUNTY AND STATE HEALTH DEPTS. We did not feel comfortable sleeping in the bed because we could not be sure what we were sleeping on. We spent an uncomfortable and skin crawling night.
