The front desk employees were efficient and professional, as well as helpful answering questions.
The unique design of the enclosed pool area was convenient for families, but the strong chlorine smell was
bad. I didn't like the surrounding area with construction going on.

My family and I stayed the weekend with our dog. The location is great, within walking distance of downtown. The room was clean and stocked with everything you need. Staff was friendly and helpful breakfast had a really good selection and Happy Hour was an awesome perk as well as the free coffee bar. The parking was our only complaint as there wasn't much of it. We will be staying again as we travel to Durango often

We had a great stay here! Every staff member we encountered was polite and friendly. Easy walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. Didn’t use the pool this time but looked like fun. Will be back with the whole family.

All three nights that we were there - we could not sleep. One night Two nights the extreme noise from the kids and teens using the indoor pool was just too much to sleep through. The one night that the pool noise was not too bad, the extremely hard mattress was almost painful to sleep on without our extremities feeling tingly or numb. Nice people, clean unit, good free breakfast, - but the noise from the pool and the hard mattress were unbearable.

This place has so much potentially going for it...
HOWEVER... the downsides are huge enough to tank the whole experience.
IF you don't have small children I highly recommend staying far away from this place.
First the pros: nice rooms with balconies, free drinks happy hour, pleasant staff, passable buffet style breakfast, nice indoor pool and Hot tub that are actually functional.
And The cons: the pool/hot tub hours are 9-9 and are packed with kids screaming their heads off the entire time, so forget about any sort of an after skiing/ dinner/drinks soak with your friends, there's just not gonna be any room for you and it's not gonna be pleasant. Honestly an adults only late night hours could help with this, but it still wouldn't help with the fact that the layout of the hotel has almost every room opening into the balcony of the pool area and the French doors do absolutely nothing to muffle any of the LOUD, even amplified/echoing pool guest's screams from open to close. If you're a late night person, you WILL NOT be sleeping in, and if you're a nap taker after an adventure filled morning or afternoon "no you're not".
TL;dr "MARCO.... POLO" will be haunting my dreams for the next week.
I mentioned all this to the hotel when they asked how my visit was and basically told me "yeah, that sucks, Huh?”

Not a bad property but not our favorite. It was clean but the rooms are super small for 4 people. Sink was very slow to drain and the toilet seemed like it was from 1980. I wish they had an outdoor pool, they only have an indoor one. It was a convenient location, you can walk to the main drag with restaurants and shops. They have 2 computers that my kids were excited to play fortnite on for a bit.

Room was very clean but wear and tear evident. We even had a balcony! Sink and toilet drained/functioned very slowly. Stay was uneventful and quiet (thank you!) and the Staff are friendly and helpful. This is a wonderful location for walking in downtown Durango and perfect for families—indoor pool and spa tub.

Very comfortable bed and pillows, clean bathroom… just a little unpleasant to have windows facing into the hallway bc our kids kept opening the curtains and people could see in. Also that the balcony door locked when closed so we didn’t enjoy the balcony that we paid extra for.
