Such a wonderful, historic hotel in the heart of Durango. My family and I love it here. You feel like you step back in time to the 1880s when you stay here. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the service is excellent. Grab a drink at the Diamond Belle and dinner at Mohogany. Hotel is right downtown so it is easy to walk around and shop or sightsee.

Obviously an older hotel, but it doesn’t have that old hotel smell. Comfy beds. Can’t beat the location. Free parking, but more importantly, convenient parking. The lobby and bar and restaurant are just simply, neat. Very interesting and brings some of us back to childhood, stoking memories of playing cowboy.

Great stay at this historic hotel. Free parking but about 1 block away. Fun to find the secret nooks and crannies that have hidden treats for kids. Good food at the Derailed Pour house 1 block away. Also fun to check out the speakeasy Bookcase and the Barber 2-3 blocks away. Last but not least dinner in the Saloon is a must.
