Service and staff were welcoming and friendly. The vibe was great for my family. Breakfast was very good with alot of options. Room was clean and comfortable, only downfall was it smelled a little mildewy.

The room we were originally given was unacceptable- cramped and drab with an unwanted cot obstructing the chair. And it was situated next to a housekeeping closet and across from another one. After complaining we were given an “upgrade” - their word - to a better room in a nicer part of this large hotel and things improved. One glitch was the window - the blackout shade didn’t open so we had no sunlight. Strange, but not a deal breaker since we were often out. The common area of this hotel is a true community center with a high ceiling and lots of natural light, a pool, a restaurant and an electric fireplace where guests gather. It’s comfortable for adults and fun for kids. Despite a few hiccups our stay was mostly positive.

This is the second time we have stayed at Academy. Our room was large and clean. The indoor pool is nice for families. The breakfast is the best we have ever had at a hotel. Nice place to stay.

This is our standard reservation when we travel from Texas to Steamboat Springs to visit our daughter. My kids love the indoor pool and free breakfast. Staff is very friendly and the lobby is so nice and relaxing.

This is our go to place when we stay overnight in Colorado Springs. Its family friendly and the complimentary breakfast with made to order omlets is amazung. Great price and easy access.
