Love this place. We even booked an extra night as we loved it! Very family friendly feel and smaller. Usually stay at Edgewood, but thought we’d get a way nicer room with a lake view and large balcony than a standard room at Edgewood. Jimmy restaurant is great too. Great service and food. Special thanks to Charles and Mel. Very friendly and accommodating Love this place.

We recently had a below average stay at the landing resort and spa. For a room quoted at $600+/night, we expected a certain level of service which was not provided. Upon check in, no one showed us around the property or gave a tour. The resort fee included a welcome drink, which was not provided. We were not reminded of the $60 food and beverage credit we were eligible for as hotels.com silver members. The room itself was as described but the noise level was unacceptable. On both mornings, we were awoken by noise from adjacent and above rooms. The walls are very thin. At 7:00am Saturday morning, kids were screaming on the walking path next to our rooms. On Sunday morning, the conversation of the patrons in the room above us were audible at 7:30am and staff communicating on walkie talkies were audible outside our room shortly thereafter. This is not what you would hope for on your baby moon. This is not the kind of service I expect to receive if I am paying $696/night. I am still awaiting a response from the front desk for a response.

The Landing was Excellent!! Highly recommend!! Between the restaurant, pool/hot tub, and direct access to the beach across the street we had no reason to leave once we arrived. Perfect family vacay and dog friendly too!

Great location. Access to the private beach across the street is included. If you book one of the Lakeview rooms, then it's a 2 min walk to the beach. It's a 10 min walk to South Lake Tahoe and all entertainment and restaurants. The water there is very shallow, great for kids and playing in the lake. Staff was mostly (2 out of 3) friendly and helpful. Room was standard and clean. Nothing noteworthy.

Staff are friendly. Found it too expensive considering the amenities. Our room was right across the roof too where parties are held. Music can be heard from inside the room, can also hear what sounds like kids constantly jumping on room above us. Very limited option within site to eat or get snacks from. Can only get one 2 free pass per day to go to the state each so have to wait second day to get all 4 of us to go together or pay extra. More expensive that Marriott Waikiki which is also right across the beach, has free entrance and easy access to restaurants, shopping and groceries.

Definitely a luxe stay….very kid friendly. The computers were super slow at check in. We stayed the 4th of July and so glad we did…..the beach right out front was blocked off so only residents and guests were able to go there for the fireworks. There was plenty of space and never crowded so we could have literally showed up minutes before the fireworks and still her a spot. The bathroom was definitely luxurious with nice finishes, heated floor and toilet seats which I can see would be nice in the winter.
