Blackjack Inn South Lake Tahoe

A small family trip to Tahoe. The room was nicely updated but the room still had an old smell to it. We kept the air running to keep it fresh. Parking was great. Perfect walking distance to the beach and the strip.

One of the best budget lodging options in South Lake Tahoe. Room with the bunk bed add on is a great option for those with kids. Walk to heavenly with all your gear on and make it back to the room for lunch.

A small motel. Due to location, being walkable distance to The ski resort, we booked it. We had some reservation being a motel but it exceeded our expectation as it was clean and upgraded to modern styling. It had additional bunk bed which our kids really enjoyed as if we were at a cabin house. It was very close to the ski resort and shopping area we’re at a walking distance. It’s right next to a small gas station but location seems safe. We had to go to the front desk few times, as conditioner and body wash containers were empty and only one toilet paper was provided. But the Front desk lady is very friendly and apologetic and very prompt to respond. Parking is free. With family, would probably stay in a more family friendly place next time but for others, price and location seem a good bargain.

Stayed here one night with family. No frills hotel/motel at a very convenient/central location in South Lake Tahoe. Also reasonably priced. Would stay again on a visit to lake Tahoe.

The air condition made huge noise, my family could not sleep at all. We basically could not ski the next day since we could not sleep well the night in this hotel. Not recommend.

The two bedroom should indicate 2nd bedroom for children only as very small, no window and poor lighting. Otherwise very clean and nice soft towels. Also nice to have refrigerator and microwave.

Great place to stay with kids. We had a family room, which meant they had their own room with a bunkbed in it. I have to work in the morning, so that is an extra bonus since I could close their door and get up a couple of hours before they did. Also great for electronics with lots of places to plug in a USB and many electrical sockets. It seems that the inn must’ve been renovated/updated in recent years. Five minute walk to the gondola

Rooms are very small and no real amenities to speak of but it was affordable, clean and the family who owns and manages the place are very friendly and accommodating.
