Good spot! Really dug the vibe of the hotel. The onsite brewery, cafe, and beer-garden where bonuses I was unaware of when I booked the room. Only wish there was an elevator. (I was with my dad who cannot walk well.) But he managed the stairs ok. Keep that in mind if you are a parent with strollers for the kids. Honestly though - it was no major issue for me, and I would stay here again.

We went for a concert at the outdoor amphitheater. The location was amazing!!! We were able to grab drinks from the bar before we took a quick walk to the venue. We were also close enough to the strip to grab a late night bite and walk back safely. Slept like baby angles and got up to fresh coffee and amazing breakfast offering. Homestyle pop tart is were it is at. Will definitely stay again.

Honestly Basecamp was better than I expected it to be. Everyone was friendly and kind, check in and out was easy. The fact that they have food on the premises was great as well as live music. I didn't realize how close it was to stateline which was just a bonus. The only complaints or concerns I had was we were in a family room in the 3rd floor and maybe they just don't really want kids on the property but to put a family in the 3rd floor with tons of luggage due to you know traveling with children was a little difficult. We did know that there was no elevator but just seems like poor planning on Basecamp. Also they knowingly out us in a room where the power goes on frequently when you use the hair dryer, I did see this on another review as well. But overall I would recommend this place for anyone's next trip.

Older property, but not bad. Looked like a pretty busy place, a lot of families staying there. Brewery on property with live music, nice seating, fire pits, outdoor games. Very family friendly.

The stairs smelled like human urine and the room smelled like a heavy pine mixed with mildew and stale smoke. There are no elevators so be ready to be placed on the 3rd floor with small children and haul everything up the stairs while simultaneously trying to not let anything touch the disgusting floor. Had we not been exhausted from a 17 hour drive we would not have stayed here. The dude in the evening should not be left alone as he doesn’t seem to have the necessary people skills to be working a front desk at a hotel/motel. He was beyond overwhelmed at asking where we should park as your facility did not have enough parking at our 8pm arrival time. Overbooked and understaffed.

Love how they have a bunch of interactive things for both adults and kids, from games to fire pits, s’mores to brews! Definitely our number 1 spot in Tahoe to stay for a decent price !

Basecamp is always a nice place to stay with our family of 6. Reasonably priced and comfortable. The personnel at the main lobby and small brewery are very helpful. Fun for all ages…board games and ping pong table. The location is awesome and convenient…walking distance to Heavenly Village and the Casinos right across the street. We will definitely be returning!

The room was perfect for my family of five. The out door for pot is a great hang out spot. The property location is perfect walking distance to all the shops, casino, and restaurants.
