The lady at check in was amazing, very helpful and nice (blond with eclectic makeup). We swam and enjoyed the complimentary smores, very nice. Food was available until 9pm. I tried to order dinner at 810 and was told cook was on a break, which is fine, but odd to have a 830-9pm window to order food. We determined about 9pm the AC unit was broken, called maintenance and confirmed. They offered a fan or try a new room. We were given a new room but it was already taken (figured this when we walked in on the current renters). As they were booked they offered half off the price with fans for the room or full refund. We opted to drive home at 10pm with a full refund. The staff was nice and helpful, just unfortunate situation. To add insult to injury, tried to use the restroom before the 2 hour trip home and both restrooms were out of service which was difficult with two kids. The amenities were great, room was small, price didn’t seem to match ($273/night) however seems the going rate for Tahoe.

The hotel allowed us to check in early which was nice, but I had twin 5 year old boys with me and they tried to put me in a room that was in the furthest part of the hotel and still under construction so tons of loud nice all day long, they allowed me to switch to a more appropriate room that was clearly available from the beginning so why they did that I don't know. They also double charged me for my stay and NO ONE has followed up with me yet about that despite multiple calls. A small child from another group got hurt and was bleeding and 3 women sat behind the desk and ignored the mother who was looking for a first aid kit until she finally interrupted them. It was like this all the time- the free coffee was always empty or the cream was out- they really couldn't seem to keep up with the flow. They also never gave me directions to the beach or were very helpful. It was well located, had a great beach and amenities- the staff just needs a total overhaul on training or they need to hire more people. I overheard another guest say his room was never cleaned in his entire 7 day stay, my room also missed at least one cleaning. It's got a lot of great things about it- it just needs to be dialed in a lot better.

I booked the “Honeymoon” Suite with a private jacuzzi tub weeks in advance, expecting a private stay since there’s only one of these rooms. However, 3-4 days before check-in, a male manager informed me that the room might not be available due to plumbing issues from renovations. I was offered an “upgraded” room at no extra cost and an additional discount if the suite wasn’t ready. Upon arrival, I received keys to the “upgraded” room, which was larger but located on the second floor of a three-story building under renovation. Issues included: • Constant noise from the family above us. • Two large dead moths on the floor. • A malfunctioning, noisy AC unit. • Flickering and surging lights, with poor lighting unsuitable for wedding preparations. Despite these problems, a female manager denied my request for a late checkout. Additionally, my card was charged the full amount before I checked out, even though the male manager was supposed to address my concerns the following day. I’ve been calling all morning and only reached a machine. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

First time visiting Lake Tahoe, staff was friendly. Great location. Short distance to the lake and to Heavenly Plaza. Everything was walking distance. It snowed most of our stay but it was perfect. Rooms were clean we had a standard room. Took us a bit to figure out the AC/Heating since they were two separate units otherwise it was great. Would recommend to family and friends.

I stayed during a Blizzard. It was the best experience I've ever had. The place was very peaceful, they have a little worming chimney inside where you can enjoy family games or just chill with a cup of hot coco or coffee. The place is very central and you can go even walking to stores or dining places. Rooms are very clean and fresh smelling. I will go back again!

Overall this hotel was very cute and family oriented however a few things just made it average and not great enough to come back. Upon check in the receptionist was very short, not very welcoming. The staff did not inform of us of anything going on at the hotel- s’mores, breakfast hours, pool hours and amenities. The room shampoo and soap dispensers did not work and the shower water was always luke warm. Probably wouldn’t come back for the price
