We loved the Inn and will definitely stay again! Our kids loved the pool and the location was awesome. Only feedback would be that it would be great to have a drying rod for towels and suits in the bathroom, and a fan in the bathroom for foggy mirrors etc. With tel he beach and pool, a place to hang wet suits would be ideal. Service was super friendly and very cute and lush grounds. Great breakfast in the morning! Coffee was bad but hey, that’s small in the grand scheme. Thanks!

We loved this hotel. We had a deluxe double queen, which had a kitchenette that was great for a family. The breakfast was small, but great. The homemade salsa was so good! The pool was cleaned each morning and the garden area was beautiful. It’s obviously an older property, but it was comfortable and convenient in every way. The happy hour is also a nice touch. We will defiantly go back if we are in SB again. It’s worth it!

Nice hotel, a little on the pricey side considering the beach is a good 15 minute walk away. But large room, nice bathroom and kitchen is a nice bonus families will probably get a lot of use out of. Staff friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay! Inn by the Harbor is super charming. Friendly staff + complimentary wine/cheese and breakfast. Excellent location. 15 min walk to beach.
Was there with my kids. Only downside is security. We had some people who were not guests at the hotel bother us to get into the pool. Otherwise really charming place, would stay again.

The inn boasts classic Mediterranean flare, surrounded by lush gardens. Its proximity to the waterfront and downtown makes it an ideal base for exploring the city. Each morning, guests are treated to a continental breakfast. Don’t expect to walk out of there full but it’s plenty for a small bite. In the afternoon, unwind with a glass of wine during the inn’s small bites and wine reception. Lounge under the sun or enjoy a leisurely read in the charming courtyard. They have tons of foliage and it’s beautiful. Cool off in the pool or relax in the hot tub. The pool is also heated for the colder days. Explore the waterfront and nearby attractions on one of the inn’s complimentary bikes. The rooms are average and the bed was actually comfortable and we slept well in the quiet which was very nice. The inn’s design exudes a relaxed, coastal vibe. The staff at Inn by the Harbor truly go above and beyond. Their friendly demeanor and helpful recommendations made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether you’re on a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo adventure, the Inn by the Harbor offers a delightful experience. I highly recommend it as one of the best boutique hotels in Santa Barbara. I would definitely stay there again!

We were skeptical at first since we took the Amtrak train to SB and when we got off the GPS made us walk through a weird neighborhood lol, but when we finally got to the hotel the front office was extremely friendly, welcoming had so much knowledge about SB and the best place to eat (kid friendly and budget friendly) lol. Breakfast was yummy and they have coffee available 24/7. House keepers were very nice as well. We did not need any but in the morning during breakfast you bump into them and they were all very nice. Check out was easy and fast and the gentleman that checked us out was very nice as well. Thank you all for having such a wonderful staff and clean rooms! Our bed was so comfortable!

Great location, walking distance to the beach and the waterfront. Having free bikes available was a game changer, although they need to be better maintained, got a flat and had to walk home, and brakes on other bikes were iffy. Guest appreciation was also nice with drinks and appetizers. Now the not so good, beds in 217 were way too soft, have had backaches since day one at the hotel. Room needs more character, a few pictures on wall and please clean and change out the curtains, they look tired. Kitchen utensils were straight out of a college dorm, need upgrades there as well. Pool was way too cold mid 70s at best, should be between 80-85, especially at this time of year with highs of 70. Walkways need a good power washing, change out bright spotlights by pool with something more cool and soothing. Clean up area behind the hotel, looked like leftover crap left behind so you didn’t want to open curtains behind beds. Need more sound deadening between rooms, heard a crying baby for several hours. This is not a 3.5 star hotel, more like 2.5. Was expecting more for a 3.5 rating, so might want to downgrade yourself to be in line with what you are, a nice enough refurbished motel. Pool area could use some upgrades, would be great to fix the fountain by the hot tub, paint the hot tub (looks very worn), and put up a faux grass wall against building next door, looks horrible with just a brown wall. It’s those types of touches that will get you to three stars and above.

Well over all my kids and I enjoyed our stay. Three things, one found a few Ants in the kitchen, not alot maybe about six. Two, the dead bolt needs some WD -40, its is hard to lock in room 209 and last there is no fan in the bathroom so it make it uncomfortable you have to open the window but when you take a shower at night you don't want to open it. You never know someone can look in while using it. Staff was very helpful and knew about what Santa Barbara offers, which I found helpful. I will most likely return to the Inn or one of your other properties. Thankx
