The customer service was amazing, the room was clean, walking distance to the beach, comfy beds and great queen size sofa bed, safe atmosphere. It was a perfect stay for the family.

This place is amazing! The staff is so nice and helpful. We were even able to get an early check in. Our room was THE CUTEST! We had stayed at a Hyatt Regency the previous nights before and my family of 5 said they’d rather stay here. Super close to the beach, State St and restaurants. We have loved every minute here 🙂 I only gave 4/5 stars on property conditions bc the parking lot was a little small. Other than that- no complaints whatsoever.

Great place the family suite was perfect for our needs and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The family suite was better equipped than most overpriced airbnb's had eveything to make dinner and breakfast we ate in a couple fo times. Easy access off highway and to many shopping points. We went up to Goleta to hit the big box stores for some food. Can be a little noisy due to traffic at peak times but for the price and convenience I'd rather stay/recommend here than ocean/main street facing suites and higher prices that hear auto and pedestrian traffic and even worse. Stearns wharf just a short walk away. Highly recommend this hotel.Loved it would stay again in a heartbeat.

Hotel is practically a Motel 6 quality. Actually TV works at Motel 6 but didn’t in my room!!!! I was promised a room with 2 queens, the room came with 2 full size beds. Room was small for 3 adults. I do not recommend this hotel for family of more than 2 unless they have larger rooms.

This place is a fabulous value in spendy Santa Barbara. Smallish but clean, airy, and charming rooms. Location is excellent. You can walk to the beach, State Street, great restaurants, etc. Patio room means Mom and Dad can have a glass of wine and some conversation after the kids go to sleep. We loved our stay.

The furniture was definitely outdated. However the room was large and the staff were friendly. Castillo Inn is close to the beach, restaurants, a park, and there is a 7-11 and little market up the street. Perfect place for us to stay while visiting family.

We took a Family road trip down the California Coast. This was the most beautiful space that we stayed the night in. We felt like we were in a Mission. There were reasonal upgrades in the rooms such as granite countertops and a granite shower wall, but the updates did not falter the beauty and vibe this place gives off. The drive was a lot so we looked toward the staff for suggestions on food and sight-seeing. We were given a map and some marked destinations in Santa Barbara. I also found out that my family and I are 3 star hotel people. We also stayed at 2, 4-star chain Hotels and the service felt distant, not as great and not genuine. Thanks you to the Staff at the Castillo Inn of Santa Barbara.

Two bedroom suite was perfect for our family weekend getaway for friends' wedding, and some much needed beach RandR. Did notice that the floor was dirty though.

The staff was very helpful with adjusting our rooms since we had to make multiple separate bookings. The location is excellent and a great spot for families with young children.
