Harbor House Inn

Had a very pleasant weekend at Harbor House Inn. Property was clean and well kept with beach and restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable room with attention to detail decor and furnishings. Outdoor seating area is a bonus. Only drawback is the parking spaces are small, but there were street parking spaces available. Plan to stay again and would recommend it to friends and family.

This is a small inn so you are interacting with the owner and her family for the most part which means they really care. Super sweet people. Clean and comfy rooms and walking distance from beach and downtown. Have stayed 2 times and will be back!

Wow what a find! Staying for work in Santa Barbara on a low per diem makes it difficult to find quality places. But I was so pleasantly surprised with this place! The location was perfect. Walking distance to the boardwalk but not on a busy street (the train tracks are close but only came by in the morning when we were already up. Late sleepers might not like it but that affects all hotels in the area) I loved the room - the bed was divine! It had a kitchen and a table to work at. Right outside of the room was a cute area of Adirondack chairs to hang out in but it was too cold for us! The room was more like an AirBnb (in a good way) vs a hotel. Paper towels, plates, utensils, coffee/tea, organic bath products .it was wonderful. It is family owned and the people are so hospitable. Only thing (not a negative for me) was that there wasn’t a breakfast. Just walk down to Jeannine’s a couple blocks away and you will be good! I will stay here again in our same room. Loved it!

While all the properties in this area—1 block from the Waterfront—looked beautiful, the rooms here really set this place apart! We had rooms 3 & 4while another family member was in 118A. Each was wonderful and charming, done tastefully by the interior designer owner. But room 3 was like having our own little apartment with a living room, kitchenette and separate bedroom. It was really gorgeous and comfortable! Top notch.
