Hotel Zetta San Francisco, a Viceroy Urban Retreat

Really enjoyed our stay at hotel Zetta . Great location . Walkable to dining and shopping areas and the cable car turnaround . Staff was very friendly and accommodating . Definitely kid friendly as they have an awesome game room upstairs with ping pong a pool table shuffle board and a couple of pinball machines that were all free to play . Very affordable rates as well . Highly recommend

Lovely boutique vibe, cool design and helpful staff. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy, with homeless encampments all around, and didn’t feel particularly safe going out with my kids after dark. Not the hotels fault but still. Also, they charge a ridiculous “resort fee” for things like two cans of water and access to a Nintendo switch or oculus headset, none of which did I want and substantially increased my bill. Felt like a way to increase the price of the room without providing anything of real value. For these reasons would not stay there again.

I booked this hotel for a longer vacation with family that included young adults. The entire family loved the space and appreciated the decor and unique characteristics of this space. Price wise it is one of the better priced hotels in area - good value for hotel. Lots to do within walking distance. Property is well maintained and on site amenities were very much appreciated (gym, pool table, games and more) allowed young adults activity within hotel space. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff at this site are outstanding!! I cannot say enough about how friendly, helpful and accommodating the staff are. I am very happy that I found this hotel through Expedia. It is downtown San Francisco which means homelessness is a reality but safety was not a concern. Shopping around the corner. Great for business, weekend get away or vacation with family.
