The hotel was not fully booked, but we were given a room above the dumpsters. It has been so noisy we couldn’t sleep. Literally, giant crashing slams, all night. This was my first night away from my baby, it was stressful enough…I will never come back here. Go to the Hilton. Only a couple blocks farther and I bet you’ll sleep! For about $300.00/night at The Line, I couldn’t be more disappointed.

Was surprised at how lousy the neighborhood was but the hotel is amazing. They have security and valet and took great care of us. As a city kid, I get it, nothing fazes me, but be prepared for a first class hotel in the tenderloin.

Overall we enjoyed our time at the line hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the mini bar and using the espresso machine that made excellent drinks! The staff were friendly and helpful when we asked for restaurant recommendations. The added security to the outside of the building aided in feeling safer as the hotel is in high crime area, the tenderloin. Though we never experienced any problems, the loud streets made it hard to sleep some nights. We came for 4th of July weekend so there were fireworks right outside our room all night. The hotel in isolation is extremely wonderful! But the outer area is considerable when with families.
