Great location and amazing views of the city. The room is looking tired and needs a renovation. There was no extract in the bathroom at all so for a family of 4 the room got very steamy when showering. The bedroom could easily take bigger beds so was not great for a couple sharing in small doubles. The team were incredibly friendly and provided great service,

After reading the reviews I wasn’t too sure what to expect but can say I was satisfied with our stay. Stayed here with a family of 5, our suite provided enough room for everyone to stretch out & relax. The sofa bed mattress was pretty thin but totally fine for the kids to use. Only wish the beds were a queen size instead of double. But I would stay again.

Room tighter than expected. Did not have room for pullout bed for a kiddo. The doubles were really small. Check that room has option or not. Views great but upgrades view not as striking as shown in photo

This was a great start to our California adventure. Rooms are very nice, a good size for a family and location worked really well for us- just a few steps away from the tram stop at Union Square. The breakfast was outrageously expensive - $7 for one muffin so we went to Walgreens round the corner and bought four for the same price! We had an issue with the sofa bed being very noisy and a bit broken but the manager sorted this for us very quickly and was amazingly efficient. The swimming pool is in the opposite building so a bit of a walk and across the street which we were a little disappointed about and was a little deceptive in the description.

Rooms looked dated and like they could benefit from a “deep” cleaning. Sheets were changed daily however the headboards were greasy with fingerprints all over and pillows smelled. Hotel didn’t offer free coffee in lobby, if you want one from their machine, you have to pay $5. Their response was: you have coffee in the room, however the coffee in the room was cheap and tasted bad. There are many coffee shops around but they don’t open until later in the morning. Wifi was terrible. I’ve never been to a hotel before where you had to sign up for their loyalty program in order to use their wifi. I was given a promotional wifi code but constantly got disconnected from it. Double check your bill at their Cable 55 restaurant. Our waiter just brought the Visa bill which had the usual tip option. When I asked for the actual itemized bill, he had already added a $25 gratuity. So if you don’t ask them, you potentially pay double the tip. The location is central, close to all shops, malls, restaurants. However, there is a large homeless population within a block of the hotel. The hotel is better suited for business travellers and conferences than families. We travelled with three young children and would not go there again.

We booked the Apartment Suite 3 months in advance for my brother's wedding. The suite should have had a full kitchen, washer / dryer, and bath tubs. We have a one and two year old so these items are a must. Sadly, when we checked in, they had given away our room. We were told that they accidentally allowed the person who was there prior to extend but that they had upgraded us. However, the suite they gave us was not an upgrade. It lacked the kitchen, washer / dryer, and bath tubs. AND to make matters worse, it was dirty. They forgot to clean it from the last guests. It was 8:30pm, out kids needed to go to bed and we had to wait for housekeeping. They also gave us an open balcony terrace which we avoid due to having young kids. We were compensated for all of this but the experience was stressful and disappointing.

The areas around the property are not safe. Unfortunately I will not recommend this property to any one travelling with children.

We enjoyed the hotel. As a family of 5 we had to utilize couch/pull out sofa which was extremely uncomfortable so my son slept on the couch instead. Great location for shopping, etc.

I booked a junior suite because we had 5 adults and needed the extra room. I was clear about it being 5 adults at booking. the room was spacious enough, but the pull out sofa for the 5th person was less than comfortable for an adult. The mattress was horrible, hardly any springs, and it was a small twin size which my adult son had to sleep on. There were only enough towels in the room for 3 people. We were able to get extra. Online it indicated that the junior suites had city view. Not only did we not have a city view, our window faced a roof top that men/workers were walking by our windows and working at 8:00 in the morning. WE could not open our curtains because there were men right outside. when I was approached by text about feedback, I told them my thoughts and the only response I received was "thank you for your feedback".
