We're a couple who works late nights and sleep in during the day. We were placed next to a family who were entertaining in their room with their children during the day. We asked the front desk to ask them to respect their neighbors but nothing was done. We got very little sleep. At one point, while I was speaking, the woman I was speaking to at the front desk started talking over me and then hung up on me. Very, very rude. The housekeeping staff also tried to enter the room when the privacy sign was out.

Mediocre accommodations. Coffee pot didn’t work. Maid entered the room unannounced and without consent. No one told us that there was a kids “soccer convention” going on. We were placed on a floor with no less than 20 kids who ran up and down the hall first thing in the morning….. practicing soccer?? We thought they were running to their room but it never stopped. It was as if whoever was in the room with them “sent them out to play!” 40 minutes and THREE calls to the front desk finally silenced them. Why did I need to call three times before the hotel decided to address it? I was so annoyed that I left early.

Great friendly and lively atmosphere, good location near places to eat or shop, beautiful pool area perfect for kids and families. We will stay there again if we return to the area in the future!

Loved the location of the hotel. Parking was convenient. Room cleanliness left a little to be desired. Stains on the carpet and miscellaneous items left behind by others, i.e., toys, kids toothbrush, coins (all found behind and around the bed). Housekeeping needs to do a better job.

The pool was over crowded with rowdy children diving in. No supervision or management. Maid service tried to come in on our check out day at 9a with the privacy sign on the door. Front desk was rude.

I would stay again because how clean the linen and rooms were. The walls and some of the details of the room felt old and creepy, the wall with the old mirror scared my kids and it didn't help that the walls were yellowing with age and stained.

Amazing customer service. My only complaint is with pool behavior. Some bigger kids got a bit out of hand while my little guy was swimming. I just wish someone would observe the pool every now and then.

Due to a wild weekend storm, our power went out and we opted to find a good hotel close to home. We checked in late in the day Sunday the 8th, our front desk clerk was nice and efficient, despite being tested by another "guest" who seemed to be having difficulty with his credit card and was being a little over the top aggressive in his language. I admired the front desk clerks patience regarding this. We found our room to be clean and comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing, yet due to the storms had quite a bit of vegetation in it. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The next morning the lobby Starbucks was convenient and much neede3d as the next round of rain and wind was saturating the area, making any type of driving uneasy. I called down for a late check out as I was deep in work related problems also caused by the storm. The clerk was understanding and helpful. Most people would really not think twice about a hotel near home and what to expect. Myself, with a degree in hotel and restaurant operations, I hold my experiences to a higher standard than most. I will definitely be recommending The Rancho Cordova Marriott to friends and family. Thank You
