Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa

I truly love this hotel. the amenities, the location. The game area is so cool for kids to play and hang out. The view sitting at fire pits outside the bar area of the golf course are absolutely beautiful. This hotel is a gem! The room that we were given was a little bigger than your average room. It was on the side of the hotel where dogs are allowed. My only complaint is I wish I had been asked if I had a pet with me, any allergies to dogs or any fear of dogs. I think if you're going to put someone that does not have pets on that side of the hotel I think those are important questions to ask a guest.

This is a beautiful hotel with something for everyone; couples, families, travellers. The pools are great (although the jets on one jacuzzi were not working at all, and the other only half the side worked) and lots of games and firepits. Also a great poolside taco truck option. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was great they go above and beyond to make your stay special. This place is tons of activities for the family.

Property was great for our family of 4. We had a 7 year old and 4 year old + senior pup. Service was great and plenty of things to do in property w our kiddos!

The Hyatt Regency and Spa in Monterey is a beautiful resort on sprawling acreage on the Del Monte Golf Course. I was there mid-week and the hotel was very quiet. The staff at the hotel were top notch. They were friendly and helpful, and kept me company on a solo visit to visit friends living in the area. It was Father’s Day weekend and by Friday night, the vibe at the hotel was different, yet still enjoyable, with families arriving for the weekend. By Saturday morning check out, the hotel was filled with families ready to celebrate. This is a kid and pet friendly resort with plenty of amenities to keep everyone in the family happy. The breakfast was outstanding, with either sit down meal or buffet options. I had shrimp scampi for dinner one evening and it was the best I’ve had. My only complaint was the hotel room doors slammed shut loudly.

Great place for families, beautiful view, fun games and pool, good service.

The kids area is pretty run down. We enjoyed the gym, pool and pickleball.
