Best Western Park Crest Inn

We are a family of four and we stayed in a double queen room. The hotel offers breakfast, which was great for our two little ones. The room service ladies were amazing and there is a pool! You are about 10 minutes from Cannery Row and there is also a shopping center up the road if you forgot anything or if you need to run oit your toddler.

Refrigerator was super noisy the first night, kept clicking loudly all night long. We ended up unplugging it, with permission from the staff. The second night, the people above us were thumping noisily until after midnight. Then, the hotel staff apparently told some people that they could smoke (weed and cigarettes) right outside our room. I'm pregnant and we have a 2 year old child. Our room clearly says non-smoking. We won't be staying here again.

We have family that live in Monterey and I finally found a place where I can stay everytime we're visiting Monterey. We've stayed at this hotel about six times now and I have not once been disappointed. The rooms are spacious, clean (love the no carpet) beds are comfortable and staff is always very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Cleaning staff as well are attentive and helpful. We especially enjoy the heated pool and the breakfast which is always fresh, enough options and I appreciate that they keep bringing out more food up until closing time. So that if you walk in to breakfast 5 minutes before it ends, you will have food there! Not like other places where they run out and they do not refill if it's almost closing time. I highly "highly" recommend Best Western Park Crest Inn to my family and friends when they visit Monterey.

Room was spacious, and clean. Breakfast options were great, especially with a toddler! Cereal, scrambled eggs, waffles, yogurt and an adult favorite, coffee! Definitely recommend.

Everything was great. Checked in for a weekend at the aquarium with our two toddlers and everything went smoothly. The double queen room was separated with a door which was such a nice surprise. After the aquarium we hung out at the pool and had it all to ourselves. The kids really enjoyed waffles every morning and I think they liked the hotel more than the aquarium.

We didn't liked our stay at Best Western Park Inn. The personal was not friendly. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children (8,10,12), and we booked 1 family room with a sofabed, but it turned out that the description was wrong and there was no sofabed, so we had to book a second room, which made our stay very expensive. On top of that there was a lot noice outside (swimming pool,...) and we heared everything what the neighbours were doing (TV, shower, walking around,...) For the money we spend at Best Western, we could have booked a room at a higher quality hotel. It was the last time we stayed at Best Western.

This property was clean and the location convenient to downtown and the wharf. We were able to secure several rooms for a family get together.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing I didn’t like is that they were trying to rush us out of our room before check out time and that same room was not ready at check in time. Also, if you are traveling with a baby, get an upstairs room because the downstairs rooms are super noisy. I did love the fact that they had waffles at the free breakfast area. It was a good free breakfast! The location is very convenient too.

We were there with my family and my sister’s family. The room was fine for a one night stay. It had a bit of space for the kids to be running. Walls are thin because you could hear the upstairs neighbors and the ones next to us. Overall it did what it was suppose to for a night. Also the front desk lady was super friendly.

we were downstairs and we can hear all what going on upstairs voices, kids crying playing foot steps, running, over all the sound proofing of this hotel is terrible don’t stay on the second floor we didn’t sleep till 12 pm plus the people in the pool also noisy… terrible experience when you just want to rest and sleep worst experience of all time
